At these photos of queen Silvia and king Carl Gustaf working yesterday and today at digital meetings, we get a very small glimpse to Solliden Palace.

Since we focussed on the European royals, I thought it would be interesting to look at the interiors of some of the other royal families.

A nice glimpse.

I actually like the whatever-it-is standing on the pedestal in the JRF kitchen.

Haga Palace's library at the crown princess family's video for Digifritids, love those lupines behind them.

Photo from the Instagram of Håkan Groth, antique dealer, writer, photographer and author of Neoclassicism in the North.

The private dining room of the king and queen of Sweden at Drottningholm Palace. This room was originally the bedroom of Carl XI’s when he stayed with his mother the Dowager Queen Hedvig Eleonora. The walls were originally covered with gilt-tooled leather, a popular choice in the 17th century, used in 24 rooms at Drottningholm at this time.
The mahogany dining table is Swedish Biedermeier, made c 1820-1830, and the chairs are Gustavian, late 18th century.
This and the following rooms on the south side of the palace are not open to the public.

A nice family-living room. A funny mix of modern with the odd antique here and there.
The table that's Ikea, right? I'm looking at a book-shelve in the exact same style right next to me.
Don't like the carpet, but it's no doubt practical with small children, a dog and a playful dad.
The green standing lamp (Don't know what they are called in English) must die. The shade doesn't work. Too dark.

At this stage we have no idea if Harry and Meghan bought this place with the existing furniture or if they will furnish it themselves.

Here are some pics from inside King Constatine and Queen Anne-Marie's residence at Heli Ponte in Greece:

This is their living room:

The painting is by Lars Physant.

It looks very light, both in regards to the lighting and the furnitures.
It's also homely.
I think I'd find myself feeling at ease there.

A look into one of QMII's sitting rooms, either at Amalienborg (most likely) or Fredensborg.

https://bt.bmcdn.dk/media/cache/reso...-8jpg---2.jpeg

I believe it's Amalienborg because the decor is more in line with the first half of the 1800's, than Fredensborg which is more grand.

It's at Fredensborg. I recognise the room from the footage of The Queen watching the fællessang on TV on her birthday.

Too suspiciously tidy for a regular workstation, but handy for signing stuff and posing.
I see it's on the top floor, so his private apartment?
