Prince Edward is seen to do this alot for his wife Sophie. It's lovely to see him offering his arm to her when they exit weddings etc.
Edward holding Sophie's hand assisting her down the stairs.
I think William will be quite like this as well. Nice touch, Princes!

He does his mother proud. But among the Scandinavian men, the Swedes seem to be the most galant. Unfortunately Danish men are not so much

Prince Guillaume greeting guests. The bow and kiss on the hand for the ladies gets me every time.

Hi,
Last night, I watched the American Emmy Awards and was quite taken with this gallant incident:
I do have new respect for Ashton Kutcher though, as he ran off the stage to help an older lady who had lost her balance on the stairs up to the stage and she seemed disoriented briefly. His mike was still on and we could hear him say, “Don’t worry dear, I’ll look after you; just hold onto me”… A gentleman; and I now have new regard for him…. Most of the other dorks just sat there while the poor old dear was struggling…

I agree with you Tilla. They are a very loving couple. Loved the dress that CP Victoria was wearing. Very beautiful.

I will not argue there. Good manners will never fail to be attractive.

I just read a sweet story regarding Carl Philip at the Nobel Prizes in 2009.
Quote:
Carol Greider told me a funny story. After dinner, she was supposed to exit the room up a grand staircase on the arm of Willard Boyle, one of this year's physics laureates. But Boyle is in his 80s and a bit frail, so at the last minute he decided to take the elevator rather than the stairs.
That left Carol without her designated partner during the exit procession, but the King's son Carl Philip recognized the problem, and in a perfect display of noblesse oblige took Carol's arm and escorted her up the stairs. "I was saved by a prince," Carol said with a smile.

How kind Carl Philip is!
