It was taken last summer, so she was two and a half.

Ingrid Alexandra begynner i barnehagen
This one, orginally posted by betina in post #2, seems to be a favorite of Ingrid Alexandra. Someone said that it had "Ingrid" written on it, and I looked really hard and you can kind of tell that something is written on it.
littleroyals: Littleroyals van Noorwegen this is a good website of all young royal kids, this is the page on the Norwegian royals. It has all five kids on it. There's a ton of pictures, but they include Ingrid with her famous "Ingrid" pacifier, as posted above, Maud Angelica with a pacifier in her mouth, another in her hand, and a bottle as well, Leah Isadora, and, if you look really hard in the picture of Magnus in the stroller walking with Mette-Marit and Marius in the snow, you can tell that he's wearing his dark blue pacifier, which I think is similar to his sister's name pacifier.

Infanta Sofia looks wonderful in blue. I think that this blue pacifier is also a great touch of colour on her. Blonde persons will be always excellent in blue . The fashion colour is pink (I'm intoxicated of these pinks clothes and accesories for little girls!), but I always tought that blue is the better colour for a blonde , cute little girl.

Ok, the article in this link is about a totally different topic (which may interest some people), but the picture is of Maud Angelica with a pacifier in her mouth. Also notice that she's holding an extra pacifier in one hand while holding a bottle in the other.

At first I thought that Maud Angelica's pacifier looked a little strange, but then I realized that it's from a very popular brand of pacifiers. Does anybody know the name brands of pacifiers, bottles, strollers, etc. that different royal babies use?

Like my brother! My grandpa was furious for he said the boy would have the teeth all crooked, and I do not know what would happen with his mouth. I used my pacifier only until a reached the year of life. later I throwed it away, for I would feel a "bad taste" in it...
Well, it was my brother who got the most wonderful teeth in the family (he! Who used it until six years old!), and I got some of my teeth crocked and must arrange them! All is allright now, but you see how things are relative!

Thank you acdc1 for posting this !
I am d-r-e-a-m-i-n-g of getting this ugly stuff out of my son's mouth... He is now 3 years and 8 months and I'd love to eventually SEE HIS FACE in full without any pacifier !
So it is a relief for me to learn that even in "good families" they have such cases !

my son was the only boy in our family to have a "binki", so it is good to see everyone has problems with their children getting them away. I had my son put it into his bed after he turned two and it was the only place he could use it. At three, the "binki" fairies came and took it to a new baby. We had a big ceremony after it was gone to celebrate him now being a "big boy" LOL

That's a long time. It was probably some sort of comfort to her, like some kids suck their thumbs or have stuffed animals or blankets. I never used a pacifier, but my younger brother had one til he was three. My mom hated that.

yeah my niece is ony one but we have been trying to get her off the pacifier but I think she will have it for a long time she wakes up in the middle of the night to look for it puts it back in her mouth and goes back to sleep. Btw Princess Stephanie herself sucked her thumb till she was in her early teens.

I've noticed that some royal babies use the same pacifier, or at least the same type of pacifier. I've seen a ton of pictures of Irene Undangarin in that white and pink pacifier, and the same type in white and light blue. I think it's very cute. It seems like Sverre Magnus and Ingrid Alexander used MAM pacifiers, as my two-year-old nephew likes a blue MAM pacifier that looked awfully similar to the one Ingrid used, and almost identical to Sverre Magnus' blue pacifier. I also see that Avent bottles are pretty common. Prince Christian of Denmark seemed to use something like a Gerber Nuk, and it looked like his mother was holding a Nuk in her hand for Princess Isabella.

Yes, even royal toddlers and parents have to go through getting their kids out of pacifiers and other habits. Irene Urdangarin is two and still has a pacifier, Ingrid Alexandra of Norway had one for a good while, so did Maud Angelica and Leah Isadora, Princess Martha Louise's daughters, and goodness knows everyone hopes they don't have to deal with a Stephanie of Monaco situation, who had a six year old with a pacifier. When their that age, people tend to stare. I remember my brother being three with one, and my mother trying everything to get him out of it. Finally she put some kind of thing on there that tasted bad. That cured him of it quicker than we thought!

Miguel Urdangarin, from Getty, originally posted by lucys. Infanta Cristina must really like using dummys, all of her children have had them, Miguel and Irene for a while.

Another of Camille, also from Corbis. She wore a pacifier for a VERY long time.

Infanta Sofia uses the Avent Translucent pacifiers. This picture is from Amazon.com. http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/...9L._AA280_.jpg
In this picture, from her christening, she is wearing one. CelebrityBabyBlog.

Irene Urdangarin can often be seen wearing a Suavinex pacifier. I don't think they sell them in the US, it's too sad, they are so cute and trendy! We've seen her wearing, as far as I know, pink and blue. They look like they also come in orange and green. http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums/370044-post51.html
SUAVINEX :: Adelantando la Felicidad del Mañana
And I can't translate that article, but I think all that it does is describe the pacifier and it's features. I just posted it because I couldn't find a good picture of the dummy itself.
I hope the Supload one's work!

From Corbis.
Iñaki Urdangarín is not the only one who needs a pacifier! His wife, Infanta Cristina, held one in her mouth during Irene's baptism.
