I was asked the other day who are the oldest living Royals, and I really had no idea.

Can anyone advise? It would be interesting to know who are the 10 or 20 most venerable (in terms of age) Royal personages today. I think my questioner was referring to European Royals, but my interest was piqued enough to widen this to all countries.

I think the oldest ever Princess is Princess from Thailand but I don't know her name because I don't understand Thai Language. She lived ( March 13, 1898 - November 23, 2008) 110 years old. She was the oldest ever Princess of Chakri House. The second oldest Princess lived to the age of 104 (8 Apr 1902 - 11 Dec 2006).
There are many persons in Thailand's extended royal family that lived to be over 100 years.

I know Prince Phillip is not the oldest royal but at age 90 he's getting there.

Sorry about that. At age 92, he's getting there as far as age goes for royals.

Actually, if I am not mistaken Prince Philip is currently the oldest surviving member of a reigning Royal Family.
Apart from that, the Duke of Edinburgh is also the oldest-ever British male royal, the longest serving royal consort in history.

I'm trying to think of a British male royal who lived to be in their 80's and can't really think of anyone. Does anyone know who is the next oldest after Prince Phillip.

George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harwood, 1st cousin to the Queen - 1923-2011

His mother was Princess MAry, Princess Royal.

The Duke of Kent is currently 77 and is 78 in October.

Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester was 74 when he died.
