William IV, Prince of Orange (September 1, 1711 – October 22, 1751) was the first hereditary stadtholder of the Netherlands.
William was born in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, the son of Johan Willem Friso, Prince of Orange, head of the Frisian branch of the House of Orange-Nassau and of his wife Marie Luise of Hesse-Cassel. He was born six weeks after the death of his father.
William succeeded his father as Stadtholder of Friesland and also, under the regency of his mother until 1731, as Stadtholder of Groningen. In 1722 he was elected Stadtholder of Guelders.
In 1733 William was named a knight of the Order of the Garter. On March 25, 1734 he married Anne, Princess Royal, eldest daughter of King George II of Great Britain and Caroline of Ansbach. William and Anne had five children:

Princess Anne, Princess Royal and Princess of Orange (2 November 1709 - 12 January 1759) was the second child and eldest daughter of George II and his consort, Queen Caroline. She was the wife of William IV of Orange, the first hereditary stadtholder of the Netherlands. Princess Anne was the second daughter of a British sovereign to hold the title Princess Royal, and later Princess-Regent of Friesland.

HSH Princess Anne of Hanover, Duchess of Brunswick and Lüneburg was born at Herrenhausen Palace, Hanover, five years before her paternal grandfather, the Elector Georg Ludwig, succeeded to the British throne as George I.

Upon her grandfather's ascension in 1714, it became established practice that the legitimate children and the male-line grandchildren of a British Sovereign would be titled prince or princess of Great Britain and Ireland and styled Royal Highness; great-grandchildren in the male line would be prince or princess of Great Britain and Ireland and styled Highness. Her father ascended on 11 June 1727.

Princess Carolina of Orange-Nassau, Princess of Nassau-Weilburg, Princess-Regent of the Dutch Republic (February 28, 1743, Leeuwarden- May 6, 1787, Kirchheimbolanden) was the daughter of William IV, Prince of Orange, Stadtholder of the Netherlands, and HRH Anne, the Princess Royal,
Her maternal grandparents were George II of Great Britain and Caroline of Ansbach.

Princess Carolina was born in Leeuwarden. In 1747, it was declared that the position of Stadtholder could be inherited by females, thus making the young Princess Carolina the heiress presumptive to the position of Stadtholder. However, in 1748, a male heir, Willem, was born to her parents, thus displacing her and putting her second in line to the position.
Princess Carolina's father died in 1751, making her three-year-old brother Willem V of Orange. At that point, her mother was appointed Princess-Regent. However, in 1759, her mother died, and Willem V was still just ten years old. Then, Princess Carolina's paternal grandmother, Princess Marie Luise, was made Princess-Regent. Princess Marie-Luise was regent until 1765, when she died. Willem V was now seventeen, but that was still not old enough to rule on his own. So, Princess Carolina was made Princess-Regent. She ruled until 1766, when Willem V turned eighteen.

There is a thread dedicated to the couples son, Stadholder Willem V and his family, which can be found here. Apart from Caroline and Willem V they had two stillborn daughters and a daughter called Anna, who died in her infancy.

Anna, Princess Royal. Though she was the daughter of the British King George II in The Netherlands she is usually referred to as Anna of Hannover:

During her life the changing fortunes of both her own as her husbands family and her marriage made her switch titles a lot of tmes. These are the ones she had:

2 November 1709-1 August 1714: Her Serene Highness Princess Anne of Hanover
1 August-27 September 1714: Her Royal Highness Princess Anne of Cornwall
27 September 1714-11 June 1727: Her Royal Highness Princess Anne of Wales
11 June-30 August 1727: Her Royal Highness The Princess Anne
30 August 1727-25 March 1734: Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal
25 March 1734-22 October 1751: Her Royal Highness The Princess of Orange
22 October 1751-12 January 1759: Her Royal Highness The Princess-Regent of Friesland

I wonder why she is usually referred to as Anna of Hanover instead of Anna of Great Britain in The Netherlands. Her father was already king George II when Anna married William IV.

She had two nameless children before Carolina was born, a daughter in 1736 and a child of unknown sex in 1739.

Anne, Princess Royal was the daughter of George II and at one was being proposed as a possible bride for Louis XV of France but Anne's Protestant faith soon threw a spanner in the marriage plans.

In http://www.thoughtco.com/anne-of-han...orange-4049316 it was mentioned:
She (Princess Anne) was always treated with some suspicion by the Dutch citizenry.

Why would the Dutch citizenry be suspicious of Princess Anne?
