Although the support for the monarchy is at a record high (due to the King's personal popularity), NRK has become more critical of the institution during the past year - why?

The main reason: The CP couple.

The other reason: They have been criticized by Dagbladet for being too pro-monarchy. Dagbladet is a republican newspaper that has wanted Norway to become a republic for decades, but who went to war against the monarchy last year.

And now they've changed the program ''The Year with the Royal Family''.

1. They've changed the name to just the Royal Family.

2. They've changed the presenter/interviewer. Nadia Hasnaoui (very pro-monarchy) was the presenter/interviewer in 2004 and 2005 and since 2009.
