As in the links above there are only the years 2004 and 2006-2012 available, I thought it would be nice to also have
Året med kongefamilien 2003
NRK TV - Året med kongefamilien - 25.12.2003
and
Året med kongefamilien 2005
NRK TV - Året med kongefamilien - 29.12.2005

Kongeparet forsvarer kronprinsparets luksusyatchferie - Kronprinsparet - VG

The King and Queen defends the Crown Prince couple's luxury yacht vacation
King Harald and Queen Sonja talked about the Crown Prince couple's luxury yacht vacation in an interview with NRK.
In an interview with NRK, King Harald said that the family must be able to protect friends who have not sought the limelight.
- This was a person who invited the Crown Prince Family on a trip that he (the person) would be involved in, says the King in the interview. Queen Sonja says this person owned the boat.
The King continues:
We must sometimes protect our friends which will not necessarily be in the spotlight.
Queen Sonja adds:
I think it is a principle here and that is that we must be allowed sometimes, we also, to be private and be ourselves.
|
The King and Queen also said that they didn't know who this person was.

In an exclusive interview with NADIA HASNAOUI, the royal couple tells of close encounters with the Norwegian people. We talks about the king's jubilee speech, which was seen by millions on FB. The Royal House has a beautiful idea!
"Every day until Christmas Eve we look back at one of the highlights of the year we soon leave behind. 2017 was the year when Princess Ingrid Alexandra became a teenager. Saturday 21 January this year, the Princess filled 13 years."

" Every day until Christmas Eve we look back at some of the highlights of the year we soon leave behind. For the King, any sporting event is a highlight. Especially when the athletes have ski under the legs. In early February, the King NM followed skis at Lygna in Hadeland. Here together with Anniken Jørgensen, Kathrine Harsem and Marthe Kristoffersen from Varden Meråker who took the club's sixth NM gold during the relay that took place on Sunday 5 February."

"Until Christmas Eve we look back on one of the highlights of the year we soon put behind us. City: Alarm was abandoned in March. The festival has established itself as an important festival and not only offers concerts. Seminars and workshops are also a big and important part of City: Alarm. Here the Crown Prince couples visit the songwriter Camp By: Songs in Asker, including Tayla Parx and Two Inch Punch."

"Until Christmas Eve we look back on highlights from 2017. Norsk Sport was among the many who had wanted to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the King. During the Holmenkollen Ski Festival, the Royal Family was invited on 11 March to a sausage party at Skimuseet together with 100 young skiers from all over the country. Earlier on the same day, the King brought with him some femmila."

Although the support for the monarchy is at a record high (due to the King's personal popularity), NRK has become more critical of the institution during the past year - why?
The main reason: The CP couple.
The other reason: They have been criticized by Dagbladet for being too pro-monarchy. Dagbladet is a republican newspaper that has wanted Norway to become a republic for decades, but who went to war against the monarchy last year.
And now they've changed the program ''The Year with the Royal Family''.
1. They've changed the name to just the Royal Family.
2. They've changed the presenter/interviewer. Nadia Hasnaoui (very pro-monarchy) was the presenter/interviewer in 2004 and 2005 and since 2009. Anne Grosvold (also very pro-monarchy) was the presenter/interviewer in 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008. That role has now been given to NRK's royal correspondent Kristi Marie Skrede (more balanced in her covering of the monarchy).
3. This program has previously been very uncritical of the royal family, but now it will be more balanced. They will now ask Mette-Marit about her stupid Marius letter, they will ask the Queen about the criticism of her art, and they will ask about the criticism from Dagbladet about the royal court's finances.
Information-article from NRK with two quotes translated by me:
https://www.nrk.no/presse/programomt...017-1.13808527
Quote:
Who revealed the important royal secret? What is the King's great concern? And how are the two 80-year-olds doing? This and more, you will find out in the program "Kongefamilien 2017" (Royal Family 2017).
|
Quote:
2017 has been a jubilee year for King Harald and Queen Sonja. They have celebrated their 80th birthdays, both in private and public.
But it has not just been party. The King talks about his great worry. The Queen must defend her own art. Crown Princess Mette-Marit sets limits to the press again. And again. And the Storting's Committee on Scrutiny and Constitutional Affairs comes to the palace to get answers about how the court has disposed public funds.
Next year, another anniversary. In 2018, it's 50 years since Crown Prince Harald got Miss Sonja Haraldsen, as he had been waiting for in 9 years. Will it be a big celebration yet again?
|
And back to the NRK thing:
NRK deny that they have a more republican or balanced coverage of the monarchy than before, but Alexandra Haugland Beverfjord (editor of NRK News since 2015) is after what I know a republican.
And where did Alexandra work before she joined NRK? She was news editor in Dagbladet, so no surprise there.
BTW, TV2 is becoming more and more pro-monarchy and the royal court's finances has barely been mentioned there.

The photo for December 8 shows "one of the Crown Prince's most important handshakes last year": Taken during his journey to Liberia with the UN Development Programme (UNDP) in April, it shows Haakon shaking hands with a survivor of ebola - "greeting in the usual way, one tells the community that it is not dangerous neither to survive or to survive after ebola".

"Every day until Christmas Eve we look back at some of the highlights of the year we soon leave behind. This year, the Red Cross held its camp school and holiday center Haraldvigen for 50 years. The king met children who were learning about sea life and sea traffic. The king also had some tips in stock. The place is named after the King himself and is the result of a collective action in connection with the 30th anniversary of the then Crown Prince Harald".

Every day until Christmas Eve we look back at some of the highlights of the year we soon leave behind. For the youth company Birdsavers UB, May 5th was a good day. At that time they were voted Norway's best youth company in 2017. The solution the youngsters have betrayed prevents birds from dying in wind turbines.
- It sits and bubbles in start-up Norway. It does not stop with you, and I'm really impressed by everything you've got, "said Crown Prince Haakon during the award at Lillestrøm.

Every day until Christmas Eve we look back on important events from the year we soon leave behind. The release day and the National Veterans Day are marked annually on May 8th. The king surpasses her navy hunter Ken Andersen War Cross with a sword. This is Norway's highest honor.
