Thank you everyone for the wonderful photos. :) Bullet-point time again.
  • I like what Victoria is wearing here. The suit is very pretty. I don't want to judge, but I hope MM holding her stomach doesn't mean she is feeling unwell.
  • This outfit looks nice on Victoria, except for one minor issue. She's done something different with her hair which is nice.
  • Märtha Louise's outfit looks great. She really suits bright colours, and as I said before, she looks fantastic. The handbag is cute too.
  • Mette-Marit's pink gala gown is growing on me more and more. I think it is one of the nicest ones she's worn. I think the sleeves really add to it as well.

Hmmm, what could the minor issue be...I think...and think...but I can´t figure it out
Well, I must say here the white shoes make a nice contrast to the colour of the clothes. But still...a new pair wouldn´t ruin the Royal house.

To quote the high-jumping Michael Jordan, "It´s got to be the shoes". :)

New Bridge to Open Between Sweden, Norway
By DOUG MELLGREN, Associated Press Writer Fri Jun 10, 7:18 AM ET

OSLO, Norway - The Norwegian and Swedish monarchs opened a new bridge between their countries Friday.

King Harald V of Norway and King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden met with great fanfare in the middle of the Svinesund bridge spanning a fjord south of Oslo.

Harald called the 2,300-foot-long bridge "a strong symbol of the unity between the brother nations."

Norway is celebrating 100 years of independence from Sweden, which dominated a union between the two countries until 1905.

The two monarchs unveiled a stone monument of two hands extending toward each other, and shook hands themselves amid applause from a crowd of dignitaries and business leaders.

The new bridge, billed as the world's largest single-arched bridge, is meant to ease car traffic between the countries. About 15,000 cars cross the fjord every day.

I have a question :)

There has been much news here in Sweden about the attack against Victoria and Mette Marit during the visit. What happend? Could someone update me?
I haven´t been online much this weekend so I dont get what really happend.

I read in todays edition of Aftonbladet that Victoria now travels in a special "safety car". Its very discret, bullet proof etc...
Is this just because of the attack?

Yes, sorry. I should have explained that. When in doubt, abbreviate and then write out in full.

Yes, okay. I agree with you then. I am more familiar with the more recent outfits. The Spanish Wedding dress did radiate though. Not her per se. But it radiated so much that one was apt to say "Do not look directly at the dress. Repeat. Do not..."

That must have been horable for them.

Mette-Marit and Victoria wasn't in the car when it happend. They had allready left the area.

A drunk man run against one of the cars and jelled that they should die all of them. He laid down on the front of the car and was quickly taken care of by the norwegian police. According to the norwegian police was the royalty never in any danger.

Some scans from the official visit

1 Mette-MArit at the recieving line
2 Greeting at the lunch. I especially like the one of Harald and Victoria
3 Haakon giving Victoria a kiss on her hand, I will have to say Felipe does it better, Haakon looks like he is about to crack with laugheter
4 Norways three born princesses in strong colours, I think Princess Astrids dress is one of her better
