I'm siding with the ones who found M-M's gala outfit a ! She's a beautiful woman and she can look stunning but that particular ensemble was really unflattering on her. (Thought Martha Louise looked great, very typical of her individual flair and style). Sofia looked fantastic!:)

Queen Sofia of Spain (C) receives flowers and gives a hug back to six-year-old Joergen Kramer-Johansen while Norwegian Queen Sonja (R) looks on during their visit the Ullevaal University Hospital, Wednesday, 07 June 2006. Children from seven kindergarten received the two queens with flags and flowers on their arrival. The Spanish king and queen are on a three-day official visit to Norway.

The skirt half of Mette-Marit's outfit at the gala was fine, I am sick of seeing her in dark colours but it was a good shape on her.
The top half was terrible, too big and dark, she has years and years as an older Royal to wear gala outfits that cover her arms and hide her figure. While she is young she should show her body of to its best look.
She has nice broad shoulders and should show them off.

Thanks to all of you for the pics !:)
In my opinion, Queen Sofia looked neither good nor bad . I always find the way she dresses a little boring ...
Queen Sonja was beautiful, as always, but her gala dress was a bit "too much", I think .
I can't say that Mette-Marit's gala dress was beautiful, but she looked very elegant thouh . And she is a beautiful woman .
As for Märtha-Louise, she was stunning, too, but I was not fond of her hair-do, as always ...

From the wreath ceremony at the national momument at Akershus and the visit to the Dementia research center at Ullevåll univerity hospital, I have never seen any children kiss the Queen on the cheek in Norway, it must be a spanish thing:)
From Scanpix via aftenposten
At the Munch Museum it was planned that they should only see "the Scream" but the Spanish King and Queen wanted to see all the Munch paintings so the program is delayed

Yes it was, and it is still not recovered along with the Madonna, but Edward Munch painted several similar screams, there exists atleast 3 or 4 oil versions, and several drawings of it. The Paintings was stolen from the Munch Museum, they were visiting the NAtional Gallery which has their own Scream

HM Queen Sofia looks stunning in the yellow/gold outfit from this morning. I am trying to understand why Mette Marit wears some much black. I wonder is because its slimming or she thinks it fits her features. I miss the days when she wore lots of color.

I agree. If she had worn a bodice like ML's it would have looked a lot better than a blouse/jacket looking top.

http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...9&d=1149682227 Such a friendly gesture
I liked Mette-Marit's outfit for the lunch. The light summer-skirt contrasted a bit with the dark jacket, but as the jacket wasn't overly heavy it was okay.

Wow I have to say I love nearly every outfit worn by the royal ladies (including Mette-Marit's dress at the gala), apart from the bottom half of Sonja's dress at the gala dinner and Sofia's black hat Queen Sofia is one of my favourite royals but I just do not like her in hats at all!
Both Queen's outfits were beautiful at the visit to the university hospital:)
