This evening, May 12, King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted an official dinner at the Royal Palace in Oslo for the Norwegian Olympians and Paralympians in Beijing. Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Märtha Louise and Princess Astrid attended as well:

Really lovely to see Princess Astrid there and the look how Princess Märtha Louise has her arms around her aunt!
 
Oh dear auntie Astrid's age is catching up with her. Still do lovely to see her. The whole family looks great, especially the Queen.
 
Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the official opening dinner of the new National Museum in Oslo together with Crown Princess Mary today, June 10.

A bit sad that the grandchildren of the Royal Couple were not present.

Sauli Niinistö, the President of Finland, is on a two-day official visit in Norway. King Harald, queen Sonja and crown prince Haakon met the President and hosted a lunch for him at the Royal Palace.

His Majesty The King grants the Minister of Foreign Affairs audience. Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Crown Prince will also be in attendance (10:00).

His Majesty The King grants Chief of the Royal Norwegian Air Force audience. His Royal Highness The Crown Prince will also be in attendance (11:30).

King Harald and Crown Prince Haakon received Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic at the Royal Palace today, November 28:

May I ask what is so special about this train line that made this inauguration so big. The Prime Minister, King and Crown Prince were all present. It's like a state event. Was there never a train line that existed between the 2 cities?

Today, December 13, King Harald, Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon attended the Church Parade of The King's Guard at Oslo Cathedral.

Interestingly it was the first time Queen Sonja was present during the traditional service.

She was supposed to attend, but last week she was taken out of the programme. Probably due to her illness or maybe she's not at home. They never said anything about it.
 
Great that they released some pics. And good to see that Princess Astrid does not need to use an wheelchair anymore
 
A pity that the crown princess was unable to be there. I suppose she has better and worse days health-wise. Good to see a photo.
