Today, October 29, Crown Prince Haakon and Queen Sonja invited representatives of the health authorities for a lunch meeting about Norway's handling of the covid-19 situation:

King Harald's reaction after the avalanche.
The night's avalanche accident at Gjerdrum made a profound impression on King Harald and his family. "My thoughts are with all those affected, wounded, lost their homes and who now live in fear and uncertain about the full extent of the disaster," the king writes.

Five of the ten missing have now been found dead.

Considering the fact that several days have passed since the slide and that no one except a dog (on the first day) has been found alive, it is doubtful anyone will eventually be found alive.

I imagine the NRF will at some point take part in a ceremony, when hopefully all the bodies are recovered.

Prime Minister Erna Solberg delivered the government's resignation application to King Harald during the Council of State at the Royal Palace today, October 12. Crown Prince Haakon was present as well. King Harald asked Jonas G. Støre to form a new government.
