I was also quite disappointed about the coverage. Just a bit in the news on tv and that was it :( I just hope NRK is planning to make a programme about it, that they will show at a later time (perhaps during the Christmas holidays, that's when they usually have such hearty, good value programmes!)

I belive the Palace practices "Pool photography" that means that only a few photo agencys are allowed inside. I have not seen gala pictures that are not credited to ANB, SCANPIX or ALL OVER PRESS that I can remember. You never see such hords of photographers as the spanish court allow. They also let the two main TV channels take pictures. When the Swedish royals payed a visit, IBL which is a swedish company was also allowed there. I suspect that when the Spanish Royal couple will make a statevisit in the early summer 2006 we will se more pictures as they will probably let inn some of the agencys that usually cover the spanish royals.
That beeing said there are hudrets of pictures ar www.anb.no but most of them look the same from the greeting and are of bad quality so its no point to put more of them here, Im disappointed www.siste.no has not made a photogallery of this gala they usually do it.

yes, i've seen the many many photos from anb, but yes, they're pretty much has the same angle & quality...

Purple Platinum I think VG have read you complaint about to little pictures and they have uploaded more than 800  pictures from the ball, I replaced the crappy ANB pics in this post with some of them
The first 2-300  pics are of people arriving outside but if you view the series the wrong way by pressing "Forrige" you`ll go directly to the royals

I always thought Ingrid Schulerud (the PMs wife i a black strapless dress) very elegant the last time he was PM but she deffenelty needs to rethink this dress which she is almost falling out of

Wow, what a magnificent ball at the palace! Princess Märtha Louise's dress looked wonderful, very elegant and sophisticated. The Royal Palace looked wonderful with all those lights outside.
