I think the press in Norway are very reluctant to publish loads of picures of Ingrid Alexandra as the CP couple both want to expose her as little as necesarry to the press. Which is understandable in 20 years the press will go mental !

Im sorry to say that I dont think the Norwegian press has any such scruples . Haakon and Mette-Marit brought Ingrid to Holmenkollen, and they knew that she would be photographed, but under controlled formes, instead of some papparzzi stuffing their camera up her face on the street, which they will do if the dont get pictures of her. I think it is sensible to let the press get pictures of her now and then at events like this one.

I think that the Norwegian press are more eager to photograph the Norwegians winning at skiing rather than the royal family. The bigger pictures will probably be in the magazines such as Se & Hør/Her og Nå. The Royal family usually attends these kind of events, which makes it less newsworthy than if they had never been to one, and started doing it.
But I agree with Larzen. I don't think the press has any scruples whatsoever photographing Ingrid Alexandra when her parents bring her out in public. The real problem with photographers isn't now, when Ingrid is being carried about everywhere by her family. The real problems will manifest themselves when she starts nursery school, and real school.
Haakon and Märtha Louise were allowed a great deal of privacy in their schooling, at least until they reached high school. I'm afraid it isn't going to be the same for Ingrid, at least not when everybody has a camera on their mobile.

from hellomagazine.com
Crown Princess Mette-Marit enjoyed some snowy family time with husband Crown Prince Haakon this week, taking son Marius and the couple's daughter, Princess Ingrid-Alexandra, to Oslo's annual ski festival.
The rosy-cheeked little ones braved the cold in matching knit hats, and were surely kept especially warm by the cosy embrace of their mum. Ingrid Alexandra and Marius had plenty of company in the royal box, as their grandparents King Harald and Queen Sonja – as well as Denmark's Queen Margrethe – also attended the event.
Spending time with her husband and children at the ski fest has been just one of the high points for popular Mette-Marit this winter. In December, just before Princess Ingrid turned one, a poll showed that 84 per cent of Norwegians approved of Mette-Marit's performance as princess.
However, Mette-Marit was in the news for very different reasons this past weekend. Her father Sven Hoiby, whose previous antics have made him a controversial figure in Norway, made headlines once again by marrying a 34-year-old former stripper.

Ingrid Alexandra
To Norwegianne
I don't think Ingrid Alexandra will get any problems with the norwegian press when she starts at nursery school or real school at all. I don't think she have to worry before she's like 16-17 and gets a boyfrend who also can be the next norwgian prince/king.
The norwegian press talk to the royal familiy constatly and have made som roules when the royal family can be or shall not be taken pictures of. I think that both parts are more or less happy with the agrement. One of the roules is that Ingrid Alexandra and Marius shall not be photographt when the are alone, at school etc. Only if Haakon, Mette-Marit or some other member of the royal family is close to them.
The press can of course do things the royal familiy don't like, and the the royal familiy will do things the press don't like. But none of them what to make the other part too angry.

MM has great hair. Despite it being bleached platinum blonde, it doesn't look brassy or dried out. It looks healthy and natural. Beautiful hair. I wonder where she gets it done?

i agree on mette marit's hair, it's always so nice and shiny, even if she dyes it, it looks really healthy. did she cut it maybe? in some pictures it looks different. perhaps it's because she has it inside the jacket.
haakon and mette marit look so in love. it's great to see that they are still behaving the same way in public as they did before.
i would love if they took princess ingrid and sverre there as last year. it would be nice to see them again. i wonder what the next time we see them will be. i still can't stop thinking of ingrid's fight with the candle in the christening... lovely.

I wonder if Ingrid is too active this year to be attending? It's a lot of standing around, and judging by the christening, she doesn't have a lot of patience.

I agree with you all, Mette-Marit looks so natural and beautiful, she's got such a wonderful "Scandinavian look", natural beauty. It's great to see that they were all gathered in Holmenkollen, I hope they saw Swedish Anders Södergren winning the men's 50 km free individual, that was nice!
