I'm really impressed with everything the new addition to the family, Aimee is wearing: the black and white check coat with the red flower (beautifully cut, I had no idea you could look so slim in a large print), the white pants and muted gold top pant suit from the last night event. And she's pretty! Her hair, makeup, jewellry were all lovely.
Also liked the other new addition to the family, Anita's outfits: the pink suit (though undecided about the boots), the beautiful red-and-white coat with pearl trim jacket with white pants from the first night.
Loved Maxima's red dress from the last event. Hard to believe the woman who picked that also liked the large green print thing from the first event!
Fantastic shots - I like the magenta pink dress that Laurentien wore, but I wouldn't pair it up with the necklace she did. As for the pregnant ladies of the Royal House, choice of clothing wasn't fantastic, we've seen better, but I'd say that their radiance really makes up for it. Mabel, in that jacket and pant suit, very Viktor & Rolf, it's alright, but not quite to my liking. I would have to say that best dressed ladies would have to be Anita and Aimee, who really do seem to stand out from the rest of the ladies. Especially Aimee - simply fabulous choices from her side.

I wonder when the grandchildren of the Queen will start participating on Queensday. I believe that thew children of Beatrix and Margriet were involved in the old-style queensday ( a defile along Palace Soestdijk) when they were still babies/ toddlers.
The only time I know of the Queen attending a Royal; event was when she attended the funeral of King Baldwin of Belgium and I've been told that was the first time H.M was seen shedding tears. I don't know why she dosen't attend other Royal events in Europe, maybe because of the goverment, her work scedule who knows but to say that she thinks she is better than the European Royal houses is foolish Grandduke John of Luxembourg always took part in the trooping of the colour and she is on very friendly terms with both the Royal houses of Spain and Greece.
