Good to see them together. And HM is wearing two of the three Indonesian brooches (originally intended to be a tiara, a gift from indonisian sultans to Queen Wilhelmina).

They must know each other quite well as Beatrix was very close to the late king Boudouin (almost 2nd father for Phillipe) and Phillipe also attends the Bilderberg conferences regulary (probably on the invitation/suggestion of HM).

Ha, the OLS! That really is a big event in the regions where I was born almost 30 years ago.

Great to see Beatrix and Filip together at this joint Dutch-Belgian gathering of good old folklore. Personally, I don't like the Schuttersfeest at all (seen too much of it through the years, I guess) but it's a tradition that should last till the end of days for the tuns of people in Belgian and Dutch Limburg who obviously love it! :p So it's good to have some royal attendance from two countries. Lovely to see how the Queen and the prince really seem to get along!
