Marriage: to Margrete Fredkulla (Peace-woman), a daughter of a Swedish king, and previously married to Norwegian King Magnus Berrføtt.

Children: Magnus the strong & Inge Nielsen - also a daughter outside of marriage, Ingegerd of Denmark.

Death: 25. juni 1134, Killed by the citizens of Schleswig

Throne passed to: Erik Emune.
