Yep, Monaco is tiny, but it is in the United Nations (like India for example) and Prince Albert II. is an IOC member - no Olympic Games without his approval!

"On the occasion of the One Ocean Summit, we are pleased to share with you this video message from H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco in which he addresses the many solutions that exist to the perils and challenges facing the Ocean:

"warnings on these perils, exemplified by this summit, educating all generations, listening to science, effective preservation of endangered species, development of responsible economic activities, in particular sustainable fishing, energy transition towards renewable marine energies, development of marine protected areas...""

The little Comtesse de Carla's is quite a live wire! She is adorable...but can you imagine this same type of energy if she carries it into her teen years?

Look out, Monaco!

Prince Albert attends at the planting of a free standing “Mancin” vine stock for the preservation of the ampelographic heritage.

"Ampelographic"... What? I had to google it - it is the art of identifying wine grapes. Well, yeah, they look all the same for the untrained eye!

A good cause. I just did read once, that the vine from Bordeaux comes originally from America, since the stocks in Bordeaux were wiped out by he Vine louse. So, it is good to cultivate and preserve old and hopefully resistant sorts!
