No there is nothing about the christening, the announcement spoke only about the presentation of the babies.
I hope we will have soon photos of the babies before the presentation of the babies.

Wow, that's a bit late but I am very sure we will see pics of the babies much sooner. I guess Charlene has to recuperate from the c-section, it can take a while..

Prince Albert was born on 14 March 1958 and baptized on 23 april 1958. When we take this example, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella will be baptized medio January 2015.

Or perhaps the media will be as interested in following Gabriella in the 2030ies as they were focusing on her aunt Caroline during the 1970ies.

i'm slightly sad we will only see them in january, such a long time ago! is it not customary in monaco to pose for the media when leaving hospital, as it is done in spain, denmark, UK?

"customary"?
In all monarchies it is out of free will to pose or not to pose, to distribute pictures or not. It is really not "customary"

It is written in Monaco Matin and in other news that Charlene gave birth with a c section. But it is not said if it was an emergency one or a childered c section but it is an chirurgical act and she has to recover.
We see that Charlene did not naturally give birth , there are not enough times between the the births of the babies, only 2 mn when the twins arrive naturally there are much time between the two births.
It is not customary for all the monarchies to pose when the mother and baby is leaving the maternity. Mett Marit never posed when she left the maternity.
I think that there will some photos of the twins before the presentation . There were photos of Grace with her babies at the palace after the birth before the presentation of the babies at the palace.
This presentation is a custom of the princely family to present the newborn.

Princess Maria Gabriella of Savoy (1940) is the daughter of the last king of Italy Umberto II and Queen Marie José (Belgium). They are not closely related but may be friends. Maybe they just liked the name.

I thing CPcs Mett Marit was really the only one from the actual generation who did not pose leaving the maternity, and Norwegians were very angry, especially because press were advised to wait in the front door and MM left from behind!
I'm sure that Pcs Charlene, when wil be able to properly walk (C section is a real operation), she will leave the maternity and well present her babies, for the moment shw has to rest and recover.

Then Princess Máxima also did not pose for the press when leaving the hosptial but the three Princesses where presented short after the birth by their father.

Maxima never posed, did she? Victoria had one photo and I don't remember if Madeleine posed, but she was in NY.

You might be right, I do not know. Nevertheless, the bad point with MM was that the press was advised to wait the front door, and she left.

I don't mind if they don't pose out the hospital but I'd like they release some pictures because one month of waiting is long

I hope they will do what they are personally comfortable with rather than permitting media intrusion. A little delay might remind the media of their manners.
I'll never forget the expression that I thought I saw flit over Kate's face as she emerged to be confronted with that huge throng of photographers; I thought no new mother should have to endure that.

I would imagine it depends on how comfortable the new mother feels about it. Perhaps this decision was agreed upon long before the birth.

One of each is perfect and I love their names especially Gabriella. I thought straight away of Lady Gabriella Windsor, Prince Michael of Kent's daughter. I'm a bit disappointed that the presentation isn't next week but I totally understand. I had a c-section myself and you are banned from doing practically anything for the first 6 weeks afterwards. I remember the day after the birth I couldn't walk without being supported and I thought my stomach was going to split open as soon as I got out of bed so I can imagine how PC will be feeling today. The good thing is that the healing kicks in quite quickly and by the third day I felt much better but had to rest constantly and could only move around VERY slowly.
