While it would be nice to see a new tiara, I cannot help but think that if Sofia walks up the aisle wearing any tiara other than a Swedish family tiara, it will be interpreted as a sign that Sofia has not really been accepted into their family.

Since the Swedish hairdresser of the Royal family is rather creative in including jewels in the hairdo, there is also a chance that Sofia takes a lesson of Charlene .

IMHO not wearing a tiara is not really a possibility for a royal bride in one of Europe's most high profile monarchies like Sweden's.

I think that the press has a pretty close eye on what happens on the mayor internet forums and blogs. They would probably pick it up and throw it at their readers.

there are several brooches that Sofia could wear in her hair. Silvia & Madeleine have both worn the Rose Brooch while Victoria has worn other brooches in her hair.

I agree. It depends on Sofia's hairdo and maybe if the tiara was mounted differently, like pointed more forward rather than on the crown on the head like a headband it might work. Actually I think it would look very sweet and flattering if it was mounted like the Congo tiara of Luxembourg.

If the Nine prong tiara suits her head i think it would be a great option too. But i think that tiara will be used by the Queen or one of the kings sisters on that day if it is a white tie event.

I just don't know...that tiara is tricky because it's so gosh darn high. One would need a super extravagant hairstyle to make it look normal on the head.

Maybe a hairstyle like Mary's might work. Unfortunately on her big day Mary's wedding tiara got lost in her hair. She needed something with more umph, maybe that will be the laurel tiara for Sofia?

I belive it will be one of the Cameo tiara, Connaught diamond tiara or the baden fringe tiara.

But it would be great if the King has went to an auction and bought her a small or medium sized tiara to give her as a wedding gift. Then she would have something of everything in a private collection. She probably already has a lot of private jewels, will get some jewels in the wedding gifts and Carl Philip inherited everything from Lilian that was not specifically testamented to anyone else so she probably has some necklases, earrings and brooches there too.

Interesting exercise. I have to say I found myself not liking any of the grand, high ones on her. I think she will look better in a 'small' one (comparatively) like the Baden Fringe Tiara (which I picked out initially!)

Now that I can visualise Sofia wearing the tiaras, I prefer her in the Four Button, the Amethyst and the Cameo. The lower small Aquamarine would also suit perhaps.

Sofia will be a happy bride, foremost, whatever she wears.

I'm more convinced than ever that she should wear the Connaught.
The Laurel Wreath is lovely but would need a really substantial hair arrangement to carry it off.
