New member from Vermont needs a little help

Thank you to the administrators for allowing me in.

Some of you may know me as the author of "Sherlock Holmes and the Plague of Dracula," and I am traversing that territory again.

What I need specifically are accounts of Leopold, Duke of Albany's wedding day. The fourth son of Queen Victoria, Leopold was married to Helena of Waldeck and Pyrmont at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, April 27, 1882. Any guidance to sources would be greatly appreciated.

My thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

Steve Seitz

Good Luck getting your info, I am really impressed that you are an author. I read constantly, so to "talk" to a real live author is thrilling!!

Steve you may like to try a very good site Alexander Palace discussion forums. You don't have to join. Once in the index section find Leopold/ Duke of Albany and you will find a very good forum discussion of this man. Many people on this forum are librarians with access to diaries and private journals. Also I believe Queen Marie of Romania mentioned him in some of her memoirs. How he played a little prank. Anyway AP is worth a look.
