I just wanted to officially introduce myself. I am from Philadelphia, and found this board a few months ago through Royal Blue, but only now finally got around to posting my introduction. Thanks to all who post, I am endlessly fascinated by the information you provide!
PS - I see others have posted why they are interested in this stuff. I am a historian by training and by interest, and have studied the British Monarchy since childhood (I remember watching Diana and Charles get married). It is only in more recent years that I've become interested in royalty all over the globe, thanks in part to sites like this. I think as an American I find the concepts and institutions of royalty as interesting as they are foreign.
