After visiting this forum on a number of occasions I thought it was time I joined!
I have a great interest in the British Royal Family which was instilled in me at a very early age by my mother who was a great royalist. Although born in England I grew up in Canada and can remember HM Queen Elizabeth II visiting Edmonton, Alberta in the early 1960s where I lived at the time. Returning to England I worked for many years in Windsor so was extremely lucky to see various members of the Royal family at numerous events including the Garter Ceremony, State Visits, Royal Windsor Horse Show etc. I'm particularly interested in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and am looking forward to meeting and chatting with other members of the forum.
