I've been skulking about on TRF for awhile, and finally decided I should join. (You know, in case I could actually add anything to the conversations going on!)
I grew up in California, home to the faux royalty of Hollywood, and I really wish I'd been alive during Grace Kelly's romance and wedding. The modern Hollywood is so trashy compared to the real thing!
My mother's family is British-American, and have been closet royal watchers for generations. Yes, my mother has commemorative tea cups from the Charles and Diana and the Andrew and Fergie weddings, and VHS TV recordings of the weddings packed away.
Father's side is Finnish, so not so much into monarchy and royal trappings. They were intrigued by the Swedish wedding lately however, since we've seen the Swedish royal family while passing through Stockholm.
Now onto to more watching and, hopefully, commenting!
