I agree with many others I think she went to the US for medical care. The specialists who are top in their field are often in the US.

They probably went to get rid of the press. Last time there car was surrounded by photogs as they were trying to get into their car. This time there have been no pics.

I had missed this news so I'm glad to hear both M-C and little Ari are both healthy and doing well. I expect we'll see some pics pretty soon!

Not any press arond it if any, which is nice.

It's very Greek, isn't it? I personally love the names MC and Pavlos have given their children and this one is no exception.

They seem to be favoring the classic Greek names somewhat more than the names derived from Orthodoxy, which I think is fine because it reflects all the roots and origins of the nation. I spent some time in Greece and it was a revelation to me to meet so many Greeks who had names that I thought only belonged to figures in Greek mythology or ancient history.

Everyday I check this thread to see if there are any pictures of the baby. I love the Greek Royal Family and find Pavlos and Marie Chantal as well as their lovely children very likeable, as well as Alexia and her gorgeous brood.

I wonder if they will release photos before the christening. I keep checking for photos too, but I have a feeling they will probably wait until the baptism.

I think that the child is not interested in having U.S. citizenship.
Why?
Because the Brussels Convention states that European citizens can travel at any state of the European Union without a passport, for this reason Constatino can travel to Greece with a Danish passport.
But if he had the passport of the U.S.,Greece can prevent it from entering its territory
I think that Paul has Danish citizenship, so he travel to Greece without problems.

Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles has a certain cachet and is very popular with celebrities, but it is the LAST place I would want to go to have a baby
I lived in Los Angeles and I know of two instances where newborn babies received shocking hospital care - once was in the mid 1980's when twin babies received tainted blood in transfusions - one baby died
And another instance again recently where the twin babies of a celebrity received the adult dosage of a blood thinner and both babies almost died -
I don't know what Marie Chantal was thinking to have her baby at that particular hospital -

I DO NOT KNOW IT… all the hospitals have cases of negligences and in the matter of transfusions. In europe, the law is very severe to be blood donor, even so always is some case of contaminated blood.
the hospitals of famous do not have because to be better than others.
I think that the famous ones go to those hospitals for keep their privacy, that the press does not find out it. It makes me think that Marie Chantal and Pablo could to have sold an exclusive right to a magazine and they wants that nobody can do photos of the boy. It is by the contract with the magazine.
what do you think about it?
(they have sold a exclusive to the magazine, and by it was to the SinaI hospital.)

I still think it was for medical care. That is one of the top hospitals for giving birth. It also has a whole floor devoted to high profile births. The whole family can stay in a suite there. It isn't just a room. They also pamper you a lot while you are there.
I doubt she is moving to LA just b/c she has a store there. Her sister Alex lives there now. Perhaps she wanted to spend time with her? Maybe she has wanderlust. Who knows.

Honestly, two incidents are not that h igh. In the 1980's many people rec'd tainted blood. It was due to not having the screening process they have now. AIDS was just news then, and they still were not confident how it was transmitted.
As for the blood thinner, are you talking about Dennis Quid's children? That was a terrible incident. Apparently the viles that contain blood thinner also closely resemble a vile for another product. Thank goodness the children survived. But I thought it happened at a San Francisco hospital?
