Her starting next academic year seems plausible as she's turning eighteen this year.

I had not realized Marie Olympia was so old until I saw this pretty blond girl in a magazine story and realized who she was. She was 16 at the time. I was so shocked. I was thinking she and her brothers were all still very young. Time passes much too quickly. I'm so old!

Or the following year since she turns 18 in July. In the U.S. the age cut off is usually around the 1st of June, meaning she would need to be 18 by then in order to be a "senior" in the U.S., though I don't know how the age thing works in the U.K. If she is going to college next academic year, then she probably already applied to the schools she wants to go to, because most applications for private schools are due around Christmas Break. Hopefully, if she does end up at Georgetown it's because of her academics, not her connections. Though if she wants to go into the fashion world, as Marie-Chantal has mentioned, there would be better places to go than Georgetown.

not necessary. I turned 18 in the summer, late July. and started at University right after high school. So i graduated High School at 17 but then turned 18.
I dont think there is a cut off, my roomate in college was 17 until December of her fist year in college.

If they're just touring schools now I'd think she'd have one more year of secondary school left. If she were applying to start in September her applications would already be in, no?

Yes if she plans to start in Sept. her applications should be in. Alot of parents wait for the winter vacation to tour schools or wait to see where they got in, and visit those schools only
