I don't konw if this had been posted before...but I thought it was an interesting picture.
Princess Grace of Monaco and U.S. President John F. Kennedy talk during a 1962 visit to Washington by the Princess, who was formerly the American actress Grace Kelly. Picture from www.corbis.com
Thanks for the picture megknight. I don't know if anyone else has, but I have never seen it. The headpiece is, um, interesting to say the least. I have to say though, only she could pull that one off.

I have some footage from that ocassion, well it only shows Princess Grace at the airport or something. And there's a nice pic from this visit in which Princess Grace and Jackie are in the same pic. Does anyone know if there was a Gala in the White House during the Grace & Rainier's visit in 1961?
I also saw a pic of Grace and Jackie together during 1968's Seville Easter festivities at a Gala.
BTW Julia thanks for the nice mini tribute you did to Grace, my fav pic was the 1968 Seville pic. Do you know how to lo enlarge the pics at Rex Features?
The first photo only improves that Princess Grace had unique fashion style.
Steph is so cute on the other photo..

Isifa has a Grace Kelly anniversary photo set. I don't know what it's for, but there's loads of pics from her career (and a few of her as Princess of Monaco):

Tonight, or more accurately, last night, I watched "The Swan" for the first time. Not that horrible TV show of American origin which seems to have found itself on foreign shores. But the great movie starring our beloved Grace. For she is beloved not merely in Monaco or the region of my birth, but also out there in TRF land as well. It was a most enjoyable movie. Alec Guinness is one of the finest actors of the 20th century. A delightful supporting cast as well. It even includes Van Dyke Parks who wrote the lyrics to one of my favorite Brian Wilson compositions, Heroes & Villians. But I tangetize. Grace was beautiful in the movie. Even in the "Country Girl", she was beautiful. It is not easy to disguise such natural beauty. Anyway, I loved the movie. Nice score too. Good dancing. Pleasant dialogue too.
Thought I'd post some pics from the younger days of Princess Grace. Pics I had never seen before. After seeing the pics, all I could say was, "Wow, she was such a cute baby." Especially in pic #5, she looks truly adorable.
Well, I hope all of you enjoy the pics.:)
Pic #6: She is standing on the Left and is 9 years old.
Pic #8: Her personal monogram
