Of course, Caroline and Charlotte are going to wear Chanel as Karl Lagerfeld is so tight with the Monaco royal ladies - he was even at the Ball.
The Chanel daytime wear is impeccable - those suits! - and I wish that more royalty in other countries would wear this label. Eveningwear can be hit-or-miss -
Charlene bucks the Chanel trend and wears other designers - she has an athletic build and is not frou-frou or girly - Armani looks great on her.

I've looked at the photos and I see Alex in one of them, but I haven't seen Eugenie. I thought I saw her boyfriend also in a pic, so I'm surprised not to see her.
I forgot to mention in my last post, that I thought they guys looked great as always.
Charlotte and Princess Caroline looked great. I didn't like the bracelets that Caroline wore or the fact that Char wore another black dress, but they still looked great.
I also thought that Beatrice & Juliette looked fantastic.
Any yes, Princess Caroline looks even better in her day-to-day wear sometimes that when she dresses up.

Both Princess Stephanie and Princess Caroline have been often quoted as saying that they'd prefer Prince Albert to married sooner rather than later because they want to retreat from the "need" to be in the public spotlight.
I think they are trying to split the duties of the "first lady" right now in deference to their brother.
Princess Stephanie, in particular, seems to relish the private part of her life (and has since she was a child). She's said repeatedly that she hates the Princess part of her life and no doubt she dislikes attending the balls.
Many of us (me!) look up to her and would love to see more of her... But that apparently does not make her happy. Her appearance is becoming rarer at events where it is not absolutely necessary.

I like the tables decoration. I have feeling that it was very well planned ball. The performing group (I'm not familiar with them) supposed to be good one, the theme was great, IMO, the whole decoration was perfectly matching. I feel the ball was much better in reality than it appears in pics.

I think that photo is from the 2008 Rose Ball (a much better look for Charlene IMO)

I thought Caroline looked fabulous again. I love her sense of whimsy. Charlotte is a beautiful girl and Pierre's girlfriend looked fantastic. Charlene almost always gets it wrong. This was one of those times. My heart goes out to Tatiana and her family and I hope Ernst recovers swiftly. Caroline has a lot on her plate but does her job with dignity and grace.

Several members of the family did not the attend the Rose Ball, and for good reasons. Prince Ernst slipped, fell and had to have surgery on his knee. Tatiana, the girlfriend of Andrea suffered the loss of her father. Princess Stephanie does not allways attend. No reason given as to why.

Charlotte is a great beauty...if only I had been that poised at such a young age! What a dream.
So sad about Tatiana's dad...he did not live to see her marry. And poor Ernst August...speedy recovery!
I got perfume called "Rock and Rose" for my birthday last june...it's Valentino and it does smell wonderful!
