Always nice to see the Caroline clan at this event.
Th decorations this year are not that great IMO.

Good Lord what the world does Charlotte have on? That just ruins the look.
LOVE Beatrice's outfit! Not a fan of Alexandra's ...Caroline looks very nice.

Caroline & Co. -> Rose Ball
Albert & Charlene ->Red Cross Ball
They have divided up on the galas in recent years I guess...
----------
Fashion wise, I'm always against the odd-length gowns like Caroline's and Alexandra's, but Caroline actually looked nice last night.
I would've loved Charlotte's B&W outfit if the white portion is not giant feathers. So pregnant Beatrice takes the win. And CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW BABY!

Charlotte's feathers are pink. Like the other females in her family who are present she is dressed in black and pale pink.
Did any else spot that whopper of a pale pink diamond she was wearing on the ring finger of her left hand?!
It's the only jewelry she is wearing.
Wow....

All ladies and gentlemen looked quite nice last night. The Bal de la Rose is a fundraiser with the revenues going to the Fondation Princesse Grace, of which The Princess of Hannover is the president.
This ball and the Bal de la Croix-Rouge monegasque are fundraisers. Both are events with which the palais princier has nothing to do. These events are held in the city of Monte-Carlo and the Prince does attend now and then, if his agenda permits. That is all.

Rose Ball, Monaco: 2005 - 2018
Indeed but up until the late 1990’s or maybe Rainiers death, Rainier Albert Caroline and Stephanie almost always attended at both events.

I don't like Caroline's dress even if I'm her fan since she was young. The most I'd like is Charlotte's dress.....so beautiful. I saw the Casiraghi cousins from Marco's Family. This means how good are the relationship between Caroline and her sons and daughter with Stefano's Family.
As far as the Princely Couple is concerned I personally think Albert left to Caroline, who served her Country as the First Lady from 1982 to 1990 and then from 1992 till 2010, the "Bal de la Rose" to recognize her sister wonderful Job. Albert cannot do in other way, he needs to have her wife happy, and this is the only way to reach that goal.
Not to mention that Charlene suffered Caroline standing and competence. That s really a pity to have the two galas of the year divided per attendance. The Principality needs to have a united Family!

In some photos Charlotte's boa looks pink and in others like the DM article it's definitely white as others have said.
In any case the final verdict is in..I love the dress after all!
It's theatrical and elegant at the same time. And I am willing to bet the boa was detachable for dinner and dancing afterwards.
I have been observing Charlotte at this Ball for over a decade, and for the past two times she has seemed so happy and radiant.
Whatever...or whomever. ..has changed her smile from that hard forced semi smirk she used to give photographers is to be commended!

The Princess of Hannover is the president of the Fondation Princesse Grace. The revenues of the fundraising (the Bal de la Rose) goes to that foundation. Princess Caroline automatically is the focus of that Ball.

I am not sure if the Princess did a dance. There was a lavish diner first: picture.

I love this photo of Charlotte

I always envied her pretty nose (Grace had the most prettiest, but Charlotte comes close)
