Like Infanta Pilar last week who was guest of honour,its a nice touch,wonder if it will be a new tradition or a one off!

I, too, think that PCharlene looked extremely elegant today...the hat suits her and is fitting for the occasion. Maybe the veil could have been a bit smaller/different? I do prefer her monochrome choice to the checked outfits of the sisters-in-law. Also, it shows off her Order much better. Didn't like Charlotte's outfit much.

I would also like to see PCharlene sing along with the national anthem..at least she was standing to attention when it played.

So... P. Caroline's outfit looks fine ( Chanel again would be my guess ); her hat looks weird, but her hairdo gives her a sweet look ( because of the fringe, i'd say ). P. Stephanie, oh well, she tries... As for P. Charlene, her outfit is absolutely innocuous, but then again, she is an innocuous person. Now, the Casiraghis: Charlotte looks terrible: why is she hidding beneath that enormous hat?!? Now for the funniest of them all: Andrea is WEARING A MOUSTACHE AND A BEARD ihihih - new responsabilities therefore new look? As for Pierre, he looks discrete and elegant as always. But, where is P. Alexandra??? Let's wait for tonight and see what the Gala will bring...

Charlene's outfit reminded me of the one Grace wore when she was welcolmed to Monaco just prior to her wedding - not just the colour but also the material and fuller coat. I quite liked both Stephanie and Caroline's outfits but Caroline's parted fringe gave her an unusually unkept appearance imo. I do love the Monaco National Day celebrations right down to the marching firemen!

Charlene was very elegant and easily the best turned out today. I also thought her clothes were very Grace-like. I just hope that next NH she is holding a baby on the balcony as it's now the only thing that's missing.

Or the Countess of Wessex at the Grand Prix events in May! It would be great if it becomes a regular practice. Many of us had missed royal guests in Monaco during the last years..

Had forgotten about The Countess,lets hope its the start of more Royal guests engaging with the Princely Family,I wonder if Prince Hans-Adam II will attend tonight?

Is it a simple brooch or a decoration that Charlotte is wearing on her jacket?
I know that it's too big to be a decoration, but the form is a bit symbolic, so I wondered if it could have a link with a role of godmother of Monaco Security Forces.

Thank you An Ard Ri, I think that yes, this Maltese Cross is just a brooch. The symbolic is too big, it can't be a decoration - or if it was the case, we would have heard about it.

I love this picture of Charlene: she looks very sweet, she has a nice smile. I wonder how some people can speculate about rumours of crisis in the princely couple: eyes talk by themselves!

I loooove Princes Caroline´s outfit, I like Stephanie´s (although I think she should have worn a hat ) and I don´t like Princess Charlene´s otfit ( I don´t like the fabric of the coat) , the outfit is very similar to the uniform of British nurses in the WWII. Andrea is more handsome than ever with that beard ....

I have nothing against Charlene. However, I do dislike the hate and coat she looks like she is in mourning especially with her expectations. Stephanie and Caroline especially look very nice. A photograph it is hard to tell what a person may be feeling but a video will reveal much more. Yesterday during the gift giving I saw a woman who appeared to feel out of place or even scared of doing the wrong thing, afraid she would be yelled at which Albert did in public (how it became known) during the first Red Cross Ball Charlene attended. I'm beginning to wonder if the pressure and demands have gotten to Charlene. She wears her feelings. Anyone who dislikes what Charlene wears I would put the blame more on Albert he isn't the type to allow her to wear something he doesn't approve of. I get Albert is wearing his pants long so his socks and shoes don't show as much when he sits but lately they are way to long.
