The wealth of Beatrix / Willem-Alexander is a mystery as they do not directly hold investment portfolios but seems to do it all via legal entities, holdings, trust offices, to guarantee anonymity. They don't get her title completely right. Mabel herself uses 'Mabel van Oranje' but if they want to include her being a princess she is of course not a 'highness' but a 'royal highness' and not a princess X of Orange but of Orange Nassau. So, while futile, I am happy to tell Forbes that she should be referred to as 'HRH Princess Mabel van Oranje-Nassau' (or 'of Orange-Nassau' if they wish to translate to English) - or indeed as 'Mabel van Oranje' (as she herself prefers to do); HH Princess Mabel van Oranje is incorrect on various accounts.

Princess Mabel successfully manages to shield her private life (and that of her daughters). We even do not see pictures of ski holidays with their grandmother Princess Beatrix in Lech am Arlberg (Austria). Princess Mabel is one of the wealthiest (in cash) of the royal family so her secluded daughters have all chances on a carefree life out of the media.

Their fellow countess Eloise, at the other hand, is even nicknamed gravinfluencer because of her social media omnipresence. The difference with her invisible Kensington-based cousines is enormous.

Very very good investments it seems. I wonder if the rest of the RF benefited from his advice too. I wonder how much of this Mabel actually has and how much is a case of "looking rich on paper". Either way she clearly has enough money to support herself and her family and can to choose what work to do / not do. Good for her.

Prince Johan Friso worked at Goldman Sachs and reportedly was the financial adviser of his parents and his brothers.

Princess Mabel is rich in reality. Not in unsellable historic collections but in active stocks. Prince Friso was a founder-shareholder in WizzAir as he saw the opportunity of low budget travel to the East of Europe after the end of the Iron Curtain. Then Prince Friso saw potential in a platform which handles payments for online trade (when you buy something on the net, you are directed to a third party payment website). That platform (Adyen) made his wealth to explode. Add to this investments in Telenet (Belgium's premier internet provider), in commercial MRI scan centres and maybe more we do not know about.

Sorry I meant the talk of her fortune "diminishing" further up the thread is more likely the value of the investments she holds falling in value, until she sells them (if she does) they will go up and down in value regularly. That does not affect the cash she has in her bank as it were.

Luana van Oranje-Nassau van Amsberg seems to study at Sevenoaks in Kent. Last year she won the Itchenor sailing event (a fleet racing event featuring 72 boats from 16 schools) for Sevenoaks, together with partner Martin Etilla.
