The Royal house has just announced that Princess Claire is pregnant and expecting her first baby in February!
More happy baby news for the family, only days after bringing baby Gabriel home!
This has been a big year for Albert and Paola the grandparents! In a year they will have welcomed 3 new grandchildren from each of their children, staring with Astrid and Laeticia-Maria, Phillippe with Gabriel and now Laurent and a little one!

Another Baby on the Way for Belgian Royals

Just days after Crown Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium welcomed their second child, Philippe's younger brother Prince Laurent and his wife have announced that they are expecting their first baby in February.
Laurent married his English-born wife, Claire Coombs, in April this year. The popular prince, whose love of fast cars earned him the reputation of being the "enfant terrible" of the royal family, is the youngest of King Albert's three children, and is tenth in line to the throne.
A palace statement issued Tuesday said, "Prince Laurent and Princess Claire have great joy in announcing that they are expecting their first child. The king and queen and the whole royal family, and the family of Princess Claire, share in this happiness."

he older than her! she younger he 40 year old and she near 30 year old like Prince Charles and Princess Diana when Diana started child at 20 year old she expected child in Nov.1981 til 1984 Prince Charles older than Diana.

Père Gilbert (priest who did Laurent&Claire's wedding ceremony and was asked for the christening) said about the baby : "SHE will look as beautiful as her mother" which may indicate they are expecting a girl......

Yes, he did, and appearantly he also answered to a woman who asked him how his baby girl was, that they will call her Louise, but he added that it was still a secret. He said that yesterday during an official visit.

Everybody in Belgium suspects it's going to be a girl because Laurent has already given some hints in that direction.

I wonder if they will really call their daughter Louise (if it's indeed a girl) cause Astrid's second daughter Luisa-Maria is called Louise by family and at school.......so it would be confusing..........

From the Benelux Royals Message Board, Princess Claire was taken to the Saint Lucke Hospital in Brussels ... A new Belgian royal baby is on the way!
