My handicaped Son participated years at the National Games of Special Olympics. They were so proud to have a medal . Great thanks to the organisators and the lot of Volonteers who are there during 3 days. One Year in Flanders and one Year in Wallonia.
Each time a Member of our Royal Family is there for the Opening Ceremony. Well done

I wonder why the ceremony is not included in the court's agenda. As you say it is a special occasion.

It seems he made the video to promote an event for the Prince Laurent Foundation at Chateau Val Saint Lambert in Seraing on sunday.
More humour in the video: he uses a fabricated cover of national geographic magazine. The covers shows a photo of the prince with an octopus and says 'Prince Laurent finally able to talk to an octopus'. It refers to a 2013 of the prince, where he wondered about the intelectual richness that would be gathered by being able to talk to an octopus.

Prince Laurent and Princess Claire attended a ceremony at the Italian Embassy in Brussels yesterday, September 13, where Hilde Kieboom of Sant’Egidio Belgium received the Order of the Star of Italy:

Does Laurent seem a bit changed lately? He may have been willing to goof around (deadpan) for Nicolas's video, but publicly he just appears subdued these days. Or sad?
Does he strike anyone else as different?

LOL Laurent can't ever behave at any event, right?

The sweater was clearly way too large but he did wear it and seemed appreciative.

How do you even make a sweater from dog hair? That must be quite a process.
