Princess Victoria & Prince Daniel's Official Visit to China: October 11-14, 2010
About the next week´s trip to China:
Victoria inaugurates the exhibition Swedish Fashion - Exploring a New Identity in the afternoon on Monday 11 October, Daniel will also be present at the inauguration at White Box Museum of Art, Beijing.
After the ceremony Victoria and Daniel meet representatives of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. On Tuesday Victoria and Daniel travel to Shanghai to visit to the World Expo 2010.

Victoria and Daniel will also participate at the Health and Care of Tomorrow Forum at the Swedish Pavilion

I wonder if it will be awkward for them in China given China's reaction to the Nobel Prize award this year.

What is China's reaction to the Nobel Prize announcement?
I don't see why there would be any prejudice against the royals seeing as they don't choose the winners.

Plus, it was the decision of the Norweigian Nobel committee...not the Swedish Nobel committee.

Indeed. Norwegian Nobel committee announced the Nobel Peace Prize, and China didn't agree with them.
But this doesn't have anything to do with Swedish Nobel awarders (The Swedish Academy for the Nobel Prize in Literature, Karolinska institute and The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences) that decide about the other Nobel prizes.
