Kataryn, you have said it far better than I. I had noticed his " effortless fade" routine but it hadn't really registered. I guess that is another measure of his success. Either Prince School is really paying off or his on-the-job with Victoria is a winner!

I guess he really loved his wife and has a deep and honest respect for her and her parent's constitutional role, thus he really accepts their (higher) place and wishes to support them wholeheartedly. I bet he will never do anything that either hurts his wife personally or threatens her public position.

Yes, it was said at the Google translation, I just shortened it a bit.
Daniel is greeted and given a sitting Dala Horse by Henry E. Gooss, the Chairman of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, after his speech at a summit.

Prince Daniel told Aftonbladet that he looks forward to becoming a father.
- It feels great, said he.
On Tuesday afternoon Daniel visited the Swedish organization Mando Group, which operates a program to help people with different types of eating disorders. He was noticeably moved by the patients' stories.
- It was beautiful, said Daniel.
Today he gave an opening speech at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce's major conference on green and healthy food, which also Princess Madeleine involved.

Daniel participated in Washington 25th October an event of lobbying organized by The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC.
"The participants at this briefing event remarked how pleased they were that Prince Daniel seemed genuinely interested in their lobbying endeavors and that he asked insightful questions of the presenters which really kept them on their toes."

From Daniel´s speech at the "From Farm to Fork":
"Swedish men, if I may generalize, do not wait longer at the table to be served. They are no longer just experts at dealing with the grill, but have become team players in the kitchen", said the prince before a laughing audience.
"Several chefs have achieved celebrity status and inspired talented young men and women to go into the restaurant business. It has also inspired people in general to be more creative in the kitchen."
Finally, Daniel took up the paradox of the one billion people are starving, while one and a half billion people are overweighted and struggling with heart disease.

Thank you for translating,I think Prince Daniel made some good points and seems to have a good sense of humour! He is doing really well on his US-tour,now he has proven even his worst critics that he is good at representating his country, giving speeches and doing everything which is expected from a modern royal (like visiting schools etc.) I am glad that he is getting along with everybody so well and talks & listens carefully to the people.

From a blog of a woman, who attended the gala dinner in New York and the seminar next day.
About the dinner:
It was a very relaxed Prince who made the entrance, greeted with a nod of us who stood at "parade" and soon engulfed in the amount of people who wanted to greet royalty - and no, I did not go forward, did not think it suited to real .. .
Our Princess was stunningly beautiful in a black sparkly form-fitting creations with hair hanging down over her back.
About the seminar:
Princess Madeleine and Prince Daniel were present and the prince gave an appreciated and good speech, he was very relaxed and he said greetings to us all from his wife - who also would have attended, but due to pregnancy and the advice of her physician did not to travel here but had to stay home in Sweden and let her husband and her sister represent instead - good choice I think.
