Victoria is the Patron of the Pink Ribbon campaign also in 2015. Some days ago she met representatives from the Swedish Cancer Society: Secretary General Stefan Bergh, media manager Alexandra von Melen and expert Aina Törnblom. According to the Cancer Society this is the seventh year Victoria is the official Patron of the Pink Ribbon campaign.
Victoria got information about the Swedish cancer research today and information of this year's Pink Ribbon campaign.

Victoria met today the Swedish athletes participating at the Rio Paralympic Games. The group had their final meeting at the Scandic Victoria Tower in Stockholm before leaving to Brazil.

Victoria is the member of the International Paralympic Committee Honorary Board. The Honorary Board had it's first meeting in 2007 and Victoria attended in it and the meetings after that.

I found this old thread which hasn't been used in 10 years about Victoria's patronages. So I put the news of one of her patronages here now:

Victoria has been the patron of Gundua Foundation since 2007.
The Foundation has now a new website, there is a photo of Victoria with some of the Board members of the Foundation.

Crown princess Victoria is the Patron of the Pink Ribbon campaign also this year. She met the secretary general Ulrika Årehed Kågström and other representatives of the Cancer Society on 14th September, they informed Victoria about the Pink Ribbon campaign. Actress Alicia Vikander has designed this year's Ribbon.

HRH Crown Princess Victoria Patron of the Bergman Festival 2018
The Bergman Festival 2018 will be held at Dramaten (Royal Dramatic Theatre) between 23 August and 2 September 2018. HRH Crown Princess Victoria is the official patron of the festival in the jubilee year 2018, when it is 100 years from the birth of Ingmar Bergman.
"We are pleased that Crown Princess Victoria becomes the official patron of the Bergman Festival. Next year's festival will be an especially important year for the festival, when we together with many others honor one of Sweden's most distinguished and important artists", says Eirik Stubø, theater director.

On Sunday, October 1, the Cancer Society's Pink Ribbon campaign begins and in October, the whole of Sweden is pink in the fight against cancer. H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria is the campaign's official patron and the jewelry designer Efva Attling has designed this year's pink ribbon.
- At the Cancer Society we are proud that these strong women choose to represent and support this important campaign. This is the ninth year that the Crown Princess wears the pink ribbon as the campaign's official patron, says Ulrika Årehed Kågström, Secretary General of the Cancer Society, and continues:

The American author Jacqueline Woodson is the laureate of Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award 2018
Jacqueline Woodson is an American author, born in 1963 and residing in Brooklyn, New York. She is the author of more than thirty books, including novels, poetry and picture books. She writes primarily for young teens, but also for children and adults.
The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA) is the world's largest award for children's and young adult literature. The award amounts to 5 million Swedish krona (approx. $613,000 or EUR 500 000) and is given annually to a single laureate or to several.
The citation of the jury reads:
“Jacqueline Woodson introduces us to resilient young people fighting to find a place where their lives can take root. In language as light as air, she tells stories of resounding richness and depth. Jacqueline Woodson captures a unique poetic note in a daily reality divided between sorrow and hope.”

Highlights of the ALMA ceremony 2018
 
Victoria is the patron of the Pink Ribbon campaign also this year. She gave an audience to the Cancer Society on 11th September. This is the 10th consecutive year Victoria is the patron of the campaign. This years ribbon has been designer by fashion designer and artist Bea Szenfeld.
The Cancer Society's Secretary General, Ulrika Årehed Kågström informed of this year's Pink Ribbon campaign and chairman of the Cancer Fund's Research Board Klas Kärre told about immunotherapy and new treatment methods.

The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award 2019 is awarded to Flemish author Bart Moeyaert.
Bart Moeyaert was born in 1964 and lives in Antwerp, Belgium. He made his debut as a 19-year-old with the award-winning novel Duet met valse noten (1983). His large and varied writings cover just over 50 titles, and contains everything from picture books and youth books to poetry. The books are praised by the critics and are translated in more than 20 countries. He also writes TV scripts and plays, has translated several novels and teaches creative writing.
The jury's motivation reads:
“Bart Moeyaert's condensed and musical language vibrates with suppressed emotions and unspoken wishes. With cinematic presence, he portrays moments where relationships are put on their lace while the narrative complexity points to ways further. Bart Moeyert's self-luminous writing emphasizes that books for children and young people have a natural place in world literature. ”
