On Sunday 12 March, HRH the Crown Princess is traditionally greeted on her Name Day.
The Crown Princess is courted by the Armed Forces and the public is welcome to participate in the celebration at the Inner Courtyard at the Royal Palace.

The Name Day celebration program:
10.45 The gates to the Southern vault are opened for entrance to the Inner courtyard.
11.50 The Army Music Corps, The Salute Troop from the Life Guards and the Royal Guard from K 3 march into the Inner Courtyard.
12.00 The celebration begins with the Army Music Corps carrying out a music program and ends with the Army Music Corps, the Royal Guard and the Salute Troop handing over flowers to the Crown Princess.

Also this year, Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Estelle were able to prove that they really can match. The royals wore similar faux fur coats in beige, fitting for the still biting cold.

The Crown Princess was courted by the Armed Forces on the name day at the Royal Palace.
Since the early nineties, the Swedish Armed Forces have celebrated the Crown Princess's Name day with a courtship at the Royal Palace's inner courtyard. As the Crown Princess's birthday is normally celebrated on Öland, the Name day is the annual celebration of the Crown Princess in the capital.
The courtship of the Crown Princess began with music by the Army Music Corps which performed, among other things, Med en enkel tulipan. The music corps concluded with the Victoria fanfare and a fourfold cheer for the Crown Princess.
After the ceremony, the Crown Princess family greeted the congratulators who had come to the Inner Courtyard.

Niklas Larsson, municipal councilor Osby Municipality, has been at Solliden twelve times to congratulate Victoria on her birthday. And today he of course was at the Royal Palace, he posted a photo to his Instagram

Svensk Damtidning writes that Estelle is such an unusual princess - with such a strong aura.
Estelle felt also sorry for the photographers and their frozen fingers:

Estelle is all over the place (moving, talking to her father, almost jumping up and down at times) compared to Oscar who just stands quietly in front of the rest of his family. Quite impressive for such a young child (he only turned 7 earlier this month; although he looks a bit younger imho).
