The County Administrative Board of Kronoberg County has published a lot of photos of Victoria and Daniel's county visit on 15th October.
At Högåsen's special accommodation the staff generously shared their experiences of the pandemic, how it affected Högåsen and what they learned. Victoria and Daniel also had the opportunity to chat with several of the residents of Högåsen, which was much appreciated.
Victoria and Daniel had lunch at the residence in Växjö and met representatives from Ljungby Municipality and Kronoberg Region. They discussed how well different actors collaborated throughout the pandemic. Per Bengtsson from PM & Vänner told how the company managed to handle the pandemic. Ensemble Cor performed.
At Södra in Växjö, CEO Lotta Lyrå welcomed. In addition to Södra, three of the county's small companies got to present themselves and tell how they have been affected by and handled the pandemic.
The day ended at Arenastaden where Victoria and Daniel received information about how association life and sports were affected by the pandemic. Dance club Swing participated as well as the Olympic Games participants Daniel Ståhl and Fanny Roos with coach Vésteinn Hafsteinsson. Neither Victoria nor Daniel backed down when given the opportunity to try throwing under Vestein's professional guidance.
It was a very successful day and many interesting conversations about how the pandemic has affected us all.

At Högåsen assistant nurse Viktoria Karlsson shared her experiences. Unit manager Anja Svensson told how her work was affected in connection with the outbreak. Operations Manager Pia Persson told how the entire municipality collaborated to support the affected operations. The medically responsible nurse explained how the collaboration with external actors worked and how the media was handled.
Finally, Victoria and Daniel met two caregivers outdoors and had a short chat with them.
On the way out, Victoria and Daniel also made a much appreciated spontaneous visit to caregivers who had wanted to see them and therefore gathered for a joint coffee break which was arranged in an adjoining room with a glass wall.
