Court Circular 5th February:
Sandringham, Norfolk

The Queen this morning opened the new Wolferton Pumping Station, Kingís Lynn, Norfolk, and was received by the Land Agent of the Sandringham Estate (Mr Edward Parsons), Mr Brian Long (Chairman, Kingís Lynn Drainage Board) and Mr Philip Camamile (Chief Executive).

Her Majesty, having been briefed on the reconstruction project and pump operations, viewed a demonstration of machinery and a display of historical items in the Control Room and met engineers, suppliers and members of staff.

Court Circular 7th February:
Sandringham, Norfolk

Sir Michael Oswald was received by The Queen this evening when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

Queen Elizabeth today, February 13, received the newly-appointed Ambassadors to the Court of St James's, the Ambassador of Algeria and the Ambassador from the Russian Federation:

Buckingham Palace

The Queen held a Council at 5.30pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg, MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Priti Patel, MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department), the Rt Hon Alok Sharma, MP (Secretary of State for International Development) and the Rt Hon Gavin Williamson, MP (Secretary of State for Education).

The Rt Hon Michael Ellis, MP, the Rt Hon Sir Bernard McCloskey, the Rt Hon Jesse Norman, MP, and the Rt Hon Valerie Vaz, MP, were sworn in as members of Her Majestyís Privy Council.

The Rt Hon Sir Richard Arnold and the Rt Hon Dame Ingrid Simler made affirmation as members of Her Majestyís Most Honourable Privy Council.
Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg, MP, had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson, MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury), had an audience of The Queen this evening.

His Excellency Mr Abderrahmane Benguerrah was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Peopleís Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Court of St Jamesís.
Mrs Benguerrah was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Andrei Kelin was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Russian Federation to the Court of St Jamesís.
Mrs Kelina was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

Lieutenant-General Sir Andrew Gregory (Master Gunner, St Jamesís Park) was received by The Queen.
