Right! Here a little article from www.hola.com (I hope that the translation it's fine):
The infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarín have decided to change their residence and they have acquired a house of 1.063 square meters, with a swimming pool and a sports zone, where they will live with their three children. The residence is in Pedralbes of Barcelona, zone in which they live nowadays.

Here a pic from the house, from Elperiodico:

Is 1.063 square meters very big for a house in Spain? The number doesn't sound very big to me but obviously it must be a pretty decent size to have a pool and a sports zone (which means what? a basketball court? a gym? both?).

And I guess they would obviously be moving to a bigger house since their boys are growing up and will want rooms of their own.

If I'm right, the house itself is 1.063 square metres, but the land is about 2.000 sqaure metres or so...So yes, it is big!

The New HOUSE

From Hola:

Infanta Cristina de Borbón and her husband, Iñaki Urdangarín, dukes of Palma de Mallorca who, like we informed in the precedent pages of this same number, are waiting their fourth child, have acquired very far in Barcelona —in the same residential area, where they now live—a chalé that, apparently, to where they could move in next summer, once the new baby has born, or, if not, coinciding with the beginning of the school year of their children: Juan Valentín that turned five years in September; Pablo Nicolás that next month four, and Miguel, two will complete and half.

The main living room of the house of the dukes of Palm that they have acquired in Barcelona

The chalé that has two plants and a semisótano, was built in 1952 by architect Vilallonga that thirty years later he/she sold it to María Ventós, it handcuffs of lawyer Mario Herrera who has lived in him with its children until very recently.
The dukes of Palm of Mallorca were looking for for some time a wider housing that the one that now have —viven in a building of apartments—, thinking, mainly, in their three children, to those that next summer will unite, like we have said, the room.

As we have been able to know, last month of August they were carried out the steps of the purchase of the mentioned housing, in which you/they already stopped to live their owners in September. It is to leave a beautiful chalé that, in view of the images, and given the proportions of their dependences, you cannot consider specially luxurious.

It would be necessary to add, even that some of those dependences (as those that correspond to the kitchen and the laundry area), in certain way, until they could be qualified of modest.
What is very clear after the acquisition of this house is that the dukes of Palm of Mallorca have resolved, in principle, to continue living in the Count City, where, on the other hand, they have and they have had their work and their group of friends besides that Barcelona and some towns of the surroundings have been the scenario where —y began, by the way, it also lapsed—, inside the biggest discretion, its history of love.

We say all this because already some time ago the possibility had been aimed that the infanta Cristina and its husband, Iñaki Urdangarín, they could be meditating the idea of moving to live to Madrid.

That bought furnished
As we have been able to know, the infanta Cristina and their husband have bought the chalé with the whole furniture that you/they had their previous proprietors and, as it seems, the changes that, in principle, they plan to carry out in their interior they will be few, since it is believed that they even plan to maintain great part of the furniture.

That that yes it seems that it will experience an evident transformation they are the stays that, in their day, the infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarín dedicate to their children, given the different necessities and likes of these in relation to the previous proprietors of the chalé. Today we in fact offer our readers the pictures of the interior of the one mentioned house, such and as they had it distributed, furnished and decorated their previous owners. Let us say, finally that the chalé that has a garden with a pool and a small fronton, is, undoubtedly, in agreement with the necessities of the numerous family than they are already the dukes of Palm of Mallorca and its children.

The kitchen that is in the low part of the house, conserves the furniture of the previous proprietors

Well thats interesting. I wonder why they would be selling the house. Hmm. Seriously though, is this a house that was purchased with dirty money?

It has to be sold to satisfy the bail money.

Ah. Thank you GG. I suppose there would be a substantial bail. Too bad they just couldnt have been an honest couple, they wouldnt be in this predicament. Sad when people become so selfish especially when they have children. Poor kids end up paying the price too.

LG,
Yes the children will be very affected because of the actions of their parents for a long time to come. Both C/I seem like very selfish arrogant people who think that they are better then the rest of the world and they don't even work for their money. The way of the world, greed at it's worst!

I wonder if those indentured servants who live on the ground floor are being sold as part of the package? ;-P

Wouldn't that be considered illegal?

OOOPS! Pardon my momentary lapse of reason. Forgot who we're talking about here.

(ducks and runs for cover)

Has the house of the Infanta Cristina and Inaki been sold?
