I am glad Durek has apologised and it seems from this article that he was quite naive when he started dating ML and didn't know much about the world of paparazzi and royals. I hope this means he will curb what he says in public from now on.

PML has been absent from social media since Christmas. Even though she has made some questionable decisions in the past, I think she deals with this whole situation very responsible and serene. Verrett is back in the US doing .. whatever it is he's doing, and she seems to be in Norway, most likely supporting her daughters.

I don't normally want to wish unhappiness on people but this is one relationship I'll be glad to see the back of. I've never had a good feeling about the Shaman, and am under the impression he has an ulterior motive from dating ML - her $$...

The Shaman is a complete nut job!
To be honest, I like he and Märtha Louise's relationship solely for entertainment purposes. Plus we all know that the Princess is kooky...she cannot date a seemingly "normal" man.

I don´t think that`s funny. Buddhism, one of the big world religions, believes in things like that as well (even that one will be reborn, as an animal for example, over and over again). And Christian and muslim people also believe in live after death - very hard to comprehend for atheists, too....!

I am very glad to hear that the Princess and her now ex boyfriend are taking a break. I hope it is permanent. Her beautiful children come first with the support of her family. IMO he was a leech trying to get as much monies and publicity out of the Princess and the Royal Family as he could. Thankfully the Royal Family put a stop to the two of them using any Royal title. That was the first big blow to the Durek....and then it snowballed from there but we don’t know all what happened. I do feel he was instrumental in the martial break up. What ever he did for the Princess to call it quits must have been pretty bad...I can only imagine.

I hope the princess and her girls can begin to heal and find some peace. I worry about the children.

Well, the vast majority of Buddhist and Christians I have come across are not in the habit of bragging about how important they were in past lives.

Alas, I'm far from certain this is a break-up. Too much money and too many commercial interests involved.
They may not continue as a (genuine) couple but I believe their co-operation will continue.

Do you mean the marital break up of the late Ari Behn and ML? No, Durek did not know the princess at that time. He had nothing to do with the breakdown of her marriage to Ari.

Is there a source which is saying that the princess and Mr. Verrett have ended their relationship? (I apologize if I have misinterpreted anyone's comments and that was not the implication.) The Svensk Damtidning article in post #631 says, if I understood it correctly, that the couple remain committed to the relationship in spite of being obliged to live apart for the time being.

Its understandable that at this time, ML needs to focus on her daughters and Mr. Verrett is tending to whatever it is he tends to. This is the kind of separation that will really test their relationship. One of two things will happen.

1. Absence makes the heart grow fonder
OR
2. Absence makes the heart go wander.

Time will tell.

Märtha Louise has given an interview to swedish Svenska Dagbladet, it is a paywall article. Swedish Expressen quotes the interview, which was obviously done when Märtha Louise was in Sweden to promote her book, before Ari's death.

Over the past year, most of her has been about the relationship with American shaman Shaman Durek, whose real name is Durek Verrett.
She says they share things like a great interest in spirituality and supernaturalism.
- It is so great to share something that is so important to me and to be with someone who understands, accepts and likes what I do, she tells Svenska Dagbladet.
