The Earl of Wessex afterwards visited the South Walney Oyster Farm Hatchery Site, Walney Island, near Barrow-in-Furness.

His Royal Highness, Patron, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, this evening attended a Dinner and Concert at the Symphony Hall, Broad Street, Birmingham, and was received by Mr. Simon Topman (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

The Queen later gave a Luncheon Party for the Companions of the Most Noble Order of the Garter at which The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke of York, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy were present.

Nice to see Louise and James there too! It's great to see them doing an engagement with their parents together. Now that James is getting older, I wonder if they will be doing these kinds of age-friendly visits together more often.
 
James seems rather uncomfortable when posing or facing the press, so it's great that this 'shyness' disappears once he's engaged in an activity that he enjoys.

On the occasion of Princess Ingrid Alexandra's recent confirmation, I would like to ask: was Lady Louise already confirmed?
 
I don’t think it will be made public if and when she is confirmed. Aside from William’s, did we find out about any of the other grandchildren’s confirmations?

I would assume she has had her confirmation as she’s a few months older than Ingrid Alexandra.
