The palace were really unfair/stupid/tone deaf/idiotic and pretty much downright ridiculous with this engagement.
Question - yesterday Edward did an engagement that was not his. He was a last minute replacement for someone else and I think this one was as well. Is the upcoming engagements been released by the palace yet?

Edward has done a string of engagements in NI today.
This is the only news article - I could find. (I would like to send a thank you and prayer to the new person that brought him a new blazer)

The Palace has shared some more photos of the Earl of Wessex's visit to Northern Ireland yesterday. As Royal Colonel-in-Chief he also paid a visit to CO 2 RIFLES at Thiepval Barracks:

The Countess of Wessex is self isolating at home after having had contact with someone who has been tested positive for Covid-19, the Palace has announced today.

Oh no! I hope The Countess of Wessex's health is ok right now (even when not displaying any symptoms)

I very much hope that the Countess has not contracted the virus and that this time of isolation is nothing more than a boring interlude.

There's no suggestion that Sophie's got the virus, only that she's having to self-isolate because she came into contact with someone who had. Hopefully she'll be fine. She hasn't had any symptoms, so Edward and the children are free to go out if they want to.
It does show, again, though, that the Queen's going to have to take a back seat whilst all this is going on: if she'd been the one undertaking the engagement concerned, it'd be very worrying.

The Countess of Wessex paid a "virtual royal visit to Libya to champion Women, Peace & Security", she met a "range of women, including peacebuilders, civil society & refugees to discuss key issues affecting women & girls in Libya":
