okay - in the last week Edward has visited a cemetery, a coal depot and a court. I think he lost some bet.

Meanwhile -Sophie should have taken us with when she went to the Hairdressers. New cut and color possibly a treatment. Her hair seems longer then I realized.

I wonder if the kids are back at school.

Here's a video of the Countess visiting The Half Moon pub in Bagshot today, what a pity about the weather.

"The Countess of Wessex helped to launch the 2020 Eye Health Heroes award programme last week. Her Royal Highness, Patron of @IAPB joined a virtual meeting to speak with four eye health professionals from the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness.

It is really odd that Edward and Sophie are the only royals that sign joint letters with Sophie signing on the left.

They always seem to sign Sophie on the left, Edward on the right. Usually the more senior signs on the left. The Queen, Prince Charles, William , Andrew, William and Harry all sign on the left - spouse on the right. Might just be a coincidence or weird occurrence , but all of the letter, flower sending notes and such have it like that.
Also you will note that Edward is the one that seems to complete the rest of the letter.

Sophie’s name is in a different colour and the + sign, looks that she was a late addition to the letter to me.

Are there other examples of left & right?

Richard Palmer mentions it was the Thames Valley Air Ambulance that saved her life when she had an ectopic pregnancy. I imagine this must have been an especially meaningful engagement for her.

:previous:
It's lovely to see Wessex family in public doing good causes. James, Viscount Severn looks so grown up compared to last year. Lady Louise definitely resembles Queen Mary.
