The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Reception at Guildford Cathedral to celebrate the Centenary of the Women’s Royal Army Corps Association and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr Michael More-Molyneux).

His Royal Highness received His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan (Minister of Tolerance).

The Earl of Wessex received Mr. Sunny Varkey (Founder and Trustee, the Varkey Foundation).

His Royal Highness today attended the Global Education and Skills Forum, and participated in a Roundtable Discussion.

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon received the finalists of the Global Teacher Prize Award.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception followed by the Global Teacher Prize Award Ceremony.

The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, University of Bath, afterwards attended a Roll of Honour Signing and Alumni Reception at Fairmont the Palm, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

His Royal Highness subsequently attended a Dinner at Atlantis, the Palm.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today undertook engagements in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

His Royal Highness this morning visited Heriot-Watt University, Dubai International Academic City.

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon attended a Roundtable Discussion and Lunch at the British Embassy.

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, GEMS Wellington International School, Al Sufouh Area, Sheikh Zayed Road.

The Earl of Wessex this evening attended a Reception and Dinner at One and Only Royal Mirage, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street.

Court Circular 26th March:

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, this afternoon attended the Chief Nursing Officer Symposium at Defence Medical Services, Whittington, Lichfield, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr. Ian Dudson).

Thanks for the links Iceflower. Nice to see Sophie arrived in an electric car. I noticed that Charles has now got one of those too. Much better for the environment (even if the car itself costs £75,000!)

I read this and immediately thought what do they do with the string. Read it again and decided it had to be string instruments. Clearly I haven't had enough sleep and or caffeine this morning.

Thanks. It would be very nice if the title had been gender neutral, but I would have been shocked to see the Queen deviate from her standard practice to do that. "male heirs of the body" is just as expected.
