Crown Office

In accordance with the direction of HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN Letters Patent have passed the Great Seal of the Realm, dated the 10th March 2019 granting unto Her Majesty’s Son, His Royal Highness Prince Edward Antony Richard Louis, Earl of Wessex, K.G., G.C.V.O., and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten the dignity of Earl of Forfar.

Thanks. It would be very nice if the title had been gender neutral, but I would have been shocked to see the Queen deviate from her standard practice to do that. "male heirs of the body" is just as expected.

I loved the photos of Sophie visiting the premature babies in India. You could tell she was moved upon meeting them (based on her own experiences as a mother).
