Friends do NOT have to have the all the same interests and values - some may be the same but not all. In fact there is a very old saying - opposite attracts. Two of my best friends and I have very little in common - they love movies, live theatre, dinner parties, while I love live sports, swimming and reading but we enjoy each others company because of our differences. We do have a common religious belief and that brings us together but my point is that not all our interests are the same - only some and that could also be the case with Andrew and Jeffrey - some similar interests but not all.
I know some people just love to believe the worst in people and so are going to condemn Andrew regardless of facts or statements or anything else.
Others will have a more open mind and await further proof before condemning him.
Personally I was raised to believe in 'innocent until PROVEN guilty' but that standard isn't being applied to Andrew - probably because it is Andrew.
