And Andrew has been friends with a criminal who committed suicide... who has mixed with other dodgy people so as ot make money.. and who used the said criminal to procure girls for him who were barely of legal age.

I'm very well aware of that, and that still doesn't compare to the enormity of the betrayal committed by Edward VIII and then when he was Duke of Windsor. Andrew has severe moral shortcomings, quite clearly - no one is saying he doesn't - but there's just no comparison between the two.

The Telegraph on Feb. 9, 2020 reported that Prince Andrew's name had been removed from the Pitch@Palace home page.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/202...ace-home-page/

"The Duke of York's flagship business project appears to be distancing itself from the royal in the wake of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. A reference to the Duke has also been deleted from a page explaining the schemeís history, which now no longer identifies him as the businessís founder. What is left of the business has now been kicked out of its Buckingham Palace base and is being run from an office space in nearby Victoria by Amanda Thirsk, the Dukeís former private secretary and Johan Eliasch, a sports tycoon and close friend of the Duke."

"Buckingham Palace sought to distance itself from the Dukeís activities after it emerged he had attended a dinner hosted by the Chinese ambassador to Britain, Liu Xiaoming." https://news.sky.com/story/prince-an...virus-11929728

It seems like Andrew has had another stumble regarding his recent dinner at the Chinese Ambassadors home. The plan was to reorganize Pitch@Palace but it appears the plan was moved forward much sooner distancing from BP and from Prince Andrew.

Some of the posts on here would land you in court if in a printed newspaper.
Double standards.

I donít think the dinner with the Chinese Ambassador had anything to do with Pitch-it hasnít been Pitch@Palace since Andrew was stepped down from being working Royal. Amanda was let go from BP and moved on to the renamed Pitch at the same time, months ago.

Thank you for that clarification O-H Anglophile. I did a fairly exhaustive research re:Pitch@Palace before posting this as I too was aware Andrew was being reduced. The Telegraph article came up in my newsfeed last night and after actually reading it, it appeared that Andrew just wasn't being reduced but severed.

This mornings newsfeed has the BBC also reporting an update with regard to Andrews relationship with Pitch@Palace.

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-51442662.

The BBC states: "The company, owned by the prince, had already moved from its Buckingham Palace base into new office space. Now, the initiative has removed mention of the prince's name from its website."

BBC goes on to say: "Until recently, its website welcomed visitors with the words: 'The Duke of York founded Pitch@Palace to provide a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of entrepreneurs.' But as first reported in the Telegraph, that message has now been replaced with a note saying that Pitch@Palace is taking the first part of 2020 to 'refresh the brand'. Some, but not all, pictures of Prince Andrew have also been removed from the website. The UK arm of Pitch@Palace is currently being wound up but its global operations remain active. It is not known whether the prince will play an active role in the initiative going forward."

So, I think this may not be old news, but new in regard to Andrew having anything to do with the ongoing Global arm as we already knew the UK arm was being disbanded."

But, maybe The Telegraph and BBC have it wrong and you are correct that this is all old news. It's difficult to keep up with the ongoing details and if there is any connection, as the Telegraph reports, to Andrews recent dinner at the Chinese Ambassadors and the further distancing by Pitch@Palace.

BTW - Pitch@Palace is still Pitch@Palace not Pitch-it. https://pitchatpalace.com/

He isn't named in another sex scandal. He, once, 20 years ago, stayed at the home of someone who is currently being accused.

You'll notice the other high profiled guests in the picture with Sarah, Beatrice and Eugenie being Pavlos and Marie Chantal of Greece. Other people to have stayed with Nygard are the likes of Oprah Winfrey, George H W Bush and Robert De Niro.

This!

Prime example of how Andrew somehow having a connection to an accusation that is now happening really is not breaking news. Andrew is about as much involved in any sexual accusations as our own sarahedwards2 and her mom are because they happened to like and admire the guy's line of clothing.

Once again it proves that if its in the Daily Mail, it will result in profits for the Daily Mail as people buy into their stories. Free enterprise at its best (or worse)?

Guilty by association or judged by the company he kept?

This is all very unpleasent... - but not as unpleasent as the character of the molesters.

And - What I find interesting: Princes, yes, of which I thought mingled mainly with other Princes and nobility, they had quite a adventurous life with not so noble persons. Is this a good sign, that they have so many social contacts with the commoners? Or should they have been more sticking to their own strata? /sacasm off

Several papers are running the Peter Nygard lawsuit, none actually implicate Prince Andrew. It is very ugly not unlike the Jeffrey Epstein controversy but Prince Andrew appears to have nothing to do with Peter Nygards trafficking ring. Ick!

I know that a lot of rich people who have a party lifestyle hang around with people of this kind.. but IMO its not edifying that P Andrew should be mentioned as associating with more than 1 person who does this kind fo thing.

It looks really bad, doesn't it. This is why I spent a little time investigating. There's an intricate back story involving billionaire Louis Bacon, Peter Nygard's Bahamian neighbor. But again, I found nothing implicating Prince Andrew, I hope that continues to be the case.

It doesn't really matter. He is compromised already by his assocaiton with Epstein. This is yet another sleazy person he associated with..

Absolutely true, it's just this time the association appears to be a visit to Nygard's Bahamian island estate with his family, Sarah, Beatrice and Eugenie over 20 years ago. Not the ongoing multi-year relationship including allegations, pictures and reports from the victims included in the Epstein controversy. But true, Andrew and sleaze meet again.

The owner of the ladiesí consignment store around the corner from my house is no longer accepting Nygard products because of the so-called scandal.
