I know what you mean, the air is blue in my house at the moment!!
That is the $64,000 question - but conspiracy theories starting:
a. guards have been paid off
b. he isn't really dead
c. goodness knows what else in that world

Yep.... . Watch them single out a semi-famous, but ultimately unimportant person as a scapegoat and the rest being swept under the rug. Just way too many high profile people all over the spectrum were his 'friends' and 'associates' - this was going to happen no matter what.

Is anyone surprised? I'm not.
It's clearly very easy to kill yourself in jail while on suicide watch & devoid of all means with which to do it. Everyone knows that...

Well, I am... since the USA has such an experience with high profile convicts and potential witnesses against the Mafia.
Now it is hard to tell, who in the american government is not a member of La Familia. Banana States of America!

For me, the taking of one's own life is never acceptable no matter what the circumstances that lead one into this kind of an action. If it turns out as fact that Epstein committed suicide, this tells me that he knew his gig was up and that there was going to be no "sweetheart" deals, nothing or no one to save him from being prosecuted for his crimes and he took the coward's way out.
All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Jeffrey back together again where he wanted to be. Nor money, or power, or influence or status. He had to face himself and it wasn't a picture of a man he could face up to being.

Yes Osipi he is facing a greater judgement now than he ever would on this earth.
But I have to say that since Epstein was found with neck injuries in his cell a little while ago I'm not surprised it's ended like this. It only takes a few minutes of inattention by the guards and ....

To those of us who don't have any religion, he's facing nothing. He's escaped the only justice there is.
I hope all of his victims will pursue their cases against his estate & that anyone else implicated in criminal activities eg sex trafficking will be identified & charged.

Is this a joke? High profile inmate tries to kill himself, fails, is being put on suicide watch, tries again and kills himself? Sorry but this is hard to believe.
Other than that, and sorry to be harsh but: good riddance!

I agree. Now Epstein's victims will never have closure. God had nothing to do with this.

There is one small closure that, I imagine, a lot of the victims are finding a little bit of comfort in and that is that Epstein will *never* again recruit, abuse or hoodwink and control another young woman ever again.
I do think it would be nice and fitting if the case against Epstein does go forward against his estate and remuneration made to each and every victim of Epstein's crimes. Epstein may no longer be around to face the music but the evidence didn't die with him. Also, with Epstein gone, there is a bit of peace of mind for those affected by Epstein to be able to speak out freely without fear.

Commited suicide my eye, he was NEVER going to be allowed in that witness box. Wasn't he supposed to have tried to kill himself the other day? Why would the authorities have allowed him another go at it? The whole thing stinks to high heaven.

I'm not at all surprised, but I am infuriated that the so-called suicide watch didn't prevent it. I'm also sure that there are people all over the world drawing a sigh of relief that their own questionable associations with Epstein are no longer quite as likely to be aired.

According to the news, Epstein hung himself AND was on suicide watch because of the previous attempt on July 24th. Usually in US prisons belts are not allowed for inmates. So how would Epstein get a belt or anything like or rope or a cord to be able to hang himself? The conspiracy theories are flying, claiming this monster was silenced. His friends are probably thinking their foul secrets have gone to the grave with Epstein, but Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's associate and alleged procurer of young girls for this crowd, is still out there and still alive. The Southern District of New York may focus its fire on her now that Epstein is gone. These creepy people are not out of the woods yet and I hope these women will finally get some justice.
