Unexplained personal and business loans to the Duchess of York of more than £500,000 from an entertainment investment company were a “matter for investigation,” a high court judge has been told.

Gate Ventures loaned Sarah Ferguson at least £287,577 personally, and loaned £232,003 to Ginger & Moss, her upmarket tea, dinnerware and jewellery venture, court documents showed.

These Gate Ventures shenanigans, which I have posted about throughout this thread, for which Duchess at one time was a Director and last time I checked was removed and now a global ambassador to the Venture, is an ongoing bunch of bad news. Both Sarah and Andrew can't seem to ever straighten themselves out and as my mother used to say "and fly right"!

Sarah, Duchess of York served as Executive Director of a multimillion dollar company, Gates Ventures, which was headed for receivership but they now have a new investor, Dr. Li Li, a wealthy Chinese physician heavily invested in the US and elsewhere. It appears Sarah has stepped down as Executive Director and will now serve as Global Ambassador of the firm.

Looks like that ‘new investor’ last fall wasn’t enough to keep the venture going & they are now in liquidation. Interesting that their lawyers & auditors quit & didn’t show up in court because they weren’t paid. Sarah, although only a director of this company, has quite the history of leaving others holding the bag for her failed ventures as well as her unpaid personal ‘loans.’

Actually, a quick review of the company accounts for Ginger & Moss Limited (publicly available from Companies House online) shows the loan (which is said to become due in 2023) and that Gate Ventures is a 50% shareholder in the company:

Why does this scheme sound vaguely familiar to me? Oh wait... it reeks of "Cash for Access" with a bit of "Pitch@Palace" thrown in!

With the financial "troubles" Andrew and Sarah are facing supposedly at this time, what kind of "patronage" do these people really have to offer? Andrew is in disgrace and doesn't even have a semblance of a role these days. Sarah is well renown for financial difficulties. Are we sure this isn't a scheme to somehow pad their own pockets? Maybe not but I can see that rationalization running through a lot of people's minds seeing this.

well then Sarah should make contact with that shopping center billionaire Rick Caruso who met the Sussex month and a half ago because he too "want to make a difference". Sarah, Andrew, Rick Caruso, and the Sussex can all make a difference together.

Sarah is front and centre of everything she does. She seems addicted to fame and while she may be genuine in her compassion for others, she appears to be incapable of doing anything to help others unless there's big chunk of limelight shining on her. Those video clips she made are embarrassingly tacky and now she's launching yet another scheme to promote herself. I find it all hugely cringe-worthy.

She's always been like this.. she isn't an unfeeling person, but she is addicted to being noticed and she's always in financial trouble and isn't very scrupulous about how she manages to try and get out of her embarrasments.
