With so many cute royal kiddies I suspect the BBC is regretting not covering this live. Big coup for ITV.

Maybe, maybe not. No doubt they suspected this bridal party as many thought the Cambridges would be involved and they still declined for whatever reason. It’s their lost. Good for ITV and I hope the weather cooperates. Looks to be a lovely wedding.

How nice of Eugenie to include all the queen's great-grandchildren -who are old enough for this duty- and to make sure the Wessexes aren't excluded by making their children/Eugenie's younger cousins special attendants. The input from Jack's side is rather limited however.

This is my guess. So on that note, I predict that it will be Viscount Severn who will walk Sarah, Duchess of York to her seat, heck maybe even the Queen, and if Camilla is absent then Lady Louise will do the honors with Prince Charles.

I really don't see why James and Louise would be walking with anyone down the aisle.

I've just watched videos back from Henry and Meghans wedding and the only people to actually walk up the aisle were Henry and William, followed by Meghan. The Queen didn't walk up, neither did Charles or Camilla. They all entered through the side door and immediately took their seats so I would expect everyone to do the same, including Sarah.

I did not say they were coming down the aisle. I know the Queen comes in through the side door and was not sure about the others but neither scenario precludes them from being escorted to their seats.

My apologise, I seemed to have mixed up my posts! :bangin:

I had thought they would more likely seat and potentially hand out to those sitting in the main chapel. Then take their seats or move up to the naive when required, however that does mean they'll be there pretty early.

Eugenie might have an entirely different role for them!

OH! Maybe they're reading something?

In what sense "special attendants"? What are they going to do?

My guess is that they are referred to as "special attendants" because they are older than the other children in the bridal party.

Just thinking about it; isn’t this the first born Princess of the United Kingdom royal wedding since Princess Anne’s wedding right?

Yep Princess Anne was the last one!

Doubt it. Reality is, other than George and Charlotte, the other kids don't really generate that much interest either. Most people don't tune in to a wedding to see kids walking for a minute. It still depends on the couple.

Eh, I just think how people see royals have changed. In Anne's day, it'd never be imaginable for rightful HRHs (James and Louise) to not have their title. Obviously, times have changed. In fact, Angus Ogilvy was troubled by the fact that he and Princess Alexandria set a precedent that eventually led to grandchildren of the Queen not be titled. I don't think anyone would be troubled by that today.

At Anne's wedding in 1992 (the last one of a British princess of the blood) that was already the reality :D

I don't know. If it wasn't Anne's second marriage, I think we would've still seen a big shebang (although being a daughter of a monarch is still quite different than a grandchild that's not expected to work for the Firm), but that was definitely the beginning of the end. These day and age, I think most people don't really see them any different than the Philips or Wessex children.

We’ll also see Cressida, Chelsy, Cara Delavigne, Richard Branson et al, along with various aristocrats and socialites.

It should be be quite the list. I’m glad the military is involved. The military adds that extra oomph you want in a royal wedding.

Yes, for sure we'll see Cressida and Chelsy.

But the big question on the ex-front is will we see Dave? :shifty:

But yeah, some other celebs as well, like Ellie Goulding and Felicity Jones.

This is actually what I am most excited about. We will get a shot of almost all the little royals together all dressed up. What a treat.

And the official social media announcement.

https://www.royal.uk/royal-wedding-princess-eugenie-york-and-mr-jack-brooksbank-online

Streamed on the official Royal Family YouTube/Facebook/Twitter channels and the Duke of York's as well.

Plenty of viewing options.

I was hoping that they would use their social media to their advantage and live stream the wedding. They should use their social media sites for big events.

I was wondering about this today and the answer is served on a platter! :D

I suppose we may treat this declaration as official?

Too old to be the kid version of bridesmaid/pageboy and too young to be an adult bridesmaid/groomsman .

I hope Pippa and James are able to attend. Her due date must be getting close. It’s only a couple more days for the wedding. She should be good.

I doubt it.
Remember how uncomfortable Zara was at the last royal wedding? And she still had some weeks to go.
Pippa is supposedly due any time now, so I don't think she'll be there.

I'm so pleased that so many royal family kiddies have been included. So nice to see the Phillips and Mia included as well. Such a nice touch from Eugenie. I also adore that she has asked her little cousins Louise and James to be included and title them as "Special Attendants". I reckon they will likely be herding the children from the cars and up the steps. Louise is 14 so she's definitely old enough to do this. It'll be interesting to see if they're dressed similarly to the younger children or just in nice clothes.

It´s really nice to see Louise and James included aswell for a change. Looking forward to this wedding. Finally one I actually have time to watch.

Not such a big event!?! Last time I looked, every Grandchild's Wedding is a big event to the Grandparents, but especially if they're in their Nineties. Royal or otherwise. I completely expect Prince Phillip will be there barring a major change in his Health.

What I really popped in to share is, I got my monthly E Newsletter from The Monarchist League of Canada earlier tonight. In it is some concerning info...Although TLC is available on all Canadian Cable/Satellite Services, & they do have the US Rights to show the Wedding, TMLoC have not been able to confirm if TLC will be able to show it here as well or it'll end up being Geo Blocked. They’re going to keep trying to find out & will send out an update when/if they do.

Sorry to possibly be the bearer of bad tidings to my fellow Canadians.
The Duke of York twittered that the wedding will be shown live on their You Tube channel, without geo block.

There has been some talk on twitter about a Jack and Eugenie interview airing on ITV tomorrow. Has this been confirmed anywhere or just a rumour?

I haven’t heard anything about it. Perhaps someone else have?
