And it’s from Camilla Tominey too.
Well, at least it’s not because he hates Fergie. But at 97, it’s understandable. He’s had a rough year with the hip replacement and then the fall before Harry’s wedding. Though he looked like he was a kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar and got away with it as he and the Queen walked in.

I still don't think that he would miss his granddaughter's wedding unless he is gravely ill.

Well, he did travel back to London with The Queen now that their Balmoral vacation is over. The man is old, so we’ll see. I have no doubt that he’ll be there though.

If he can walk, he’ll be there. Philip may have certain quirks but he’s not a sociopath. He loves his granddaughters as much as he loves his grandsons.
But at 97 you really do have to take things one day at a time.

I agree with Rudolph here. We will not see a grand display of PDA between Philip and Sarah but Philip is too much of a gentleman to do anything that would seem to be an outright snub or slur against Sarah. Its his granddaughter's wedding and he'll do whatever it takes to ensure that her day is a happy and joyous occasion all around.
I can see the tabloids though having an apoplectic fit should Philip show kindness and courtesy to Sarah which would really blow the belief that he cannot stand her right out of the water. I would pay to see that one.

Folks gotta stop this Sarah vs Philip stuff. It’s a game way overplayed. If he’s felling up to it, he’ll be there with a smile on his face. He’ll be smiling in the official wedding portraits too.

I agree. I don't think he will be double cheek kissing Sarah anytime soon but he will 100% be there to support his granddaughter unless he physically can't move.

In all the weddings I've gone to here in the US, the mothers of the bride and groom are escorted to their seats by an usher or other designated escort right before the bridesmaids start down the aisle. In the weddings I've gone to here the bride and her father or designated escort enter last.
Unless Philip is quite ill or can't walk, I agree-he'll be at his granddaughter's wedding. I think he'll be glad he's still here to go to it. He may not go to any receptions, but I think he'll appear for the ceremony.

If Phillip made it to Harrys wedding only weeks after surgery, I fount anything short of major illness will keep him away Friday.
If someone dies walk with Fergie it will likely be one of her own family. Someone seated in the family. Unlike American weddings, won't be part of official procession.

its not quite the same Harry is a working royal and its a senior wedding.. so I think that Philip was going to be there.. unless he was very poorly. But this is a less prominent wedding and givne his age and frailty, he might not be up to it..

Im sure he will but given that it is not such a big evetn, if he's not feeling too good he may just show up for the reception.. Or just attend the church and skip the celebrations.

Not such a big event!?! Last time I looked, every Grandchild's Wedding is a big event to the Grandparents, but especially if they're in their Nineties. Royal or otherwise. I completely expect Prince Phillip will be there barring a major change in his Health.
What I really popped in to share is, I got my monthly E Newsletter from The Monarchist League of Canada earlier tonight. In it is some concerning info...Although TLC is available on all Canadian Cable/Satellite Services, & they do have the US Rights to show the Wedding, TMLoC have not been able to confirm if TLC will be able to show it here as well or it'll end up being Geo Blocked. They’re going to keep trying to find out & will send out an update when/if they do.
Sorry to possibly be the bearer of bad tidings to my fellow Canadians.

Harry being a working Royal has nothing to do with why Philip attended his wedding shortly after surgery. Harry being Philip’s grandchild was 100% the reason. The same reason he will attend Eugenie’s wedding barring a serious health issue.

Haters gonna hate! People … have you ever heard of a wheelchair? No doubt that the RF could find one for him, if indeed necessary.
Barring a hospitalization … Philip will attend his granddaughter's wedding.

Makes it a little easier.
So all is as predicted, I really didn't know Eugenie was that close to Robbie and Ayda Williams to include them in her wedding party.
Oliver De Givenchy is Head of United States West Region and Managing Director at JPMorgan. I assume he is Jack's friend acquaintance?

George and Charlotte are sweet and all but we have seen them. I’m loving seeing all the other cousins getting their moment. Now that’s super cute and can’t wait to see them. Even Louise and James. Those will be great memories and pictures for the family.

In what sense "special attendants"? What are they going to do?
I suppose we may treat this declaration as official?

It's come from Buckingham Palace so it's as official as you're going to get.
I had extra attendants at my wedding that helped seat guests and such, Eugenie clearly wanted to include her younger cousins.
